Whilst Elvis fans disagree with each other on message boards we are all united in the belief Elvis Presley was the Big Bang of Rock 'n' Roll. Others may have preceded him but none could compare. None!

If you were around during the birth of rock and roll music, I am sure you will never dispute the facts about Elvis. I am a living witness to his impact and never have seen anything close to it yet. His success story from obscurity to his universal fame is the model story of the music world. He is always the yardstick for success for other performers after him. You can say all negative things about him but history will never tell a lie who is Elvis Presley. Time will be the best judge if someone can indeed surpass Elvis' achievements.Good luck for those who will try.

Maurice, none will ever compare to Elvis.
Unique is a great word for ELVIS, but even that doesn't really discribe it.:)

YOu are so right---and there is no one so massively imitated as Elvis. There will never be another. He is the one and only undisputed King. God Bless him forever.
