I was the mail clerk at HHD 8th Maint Bn. from 84-87. I remember Sidoli driving around a little green military van. Ricky Graham was the First Sargent. Best of times then.
Hey Sgt. Bachman....

Just read your post... Yeah that was me driving that Van for SM McDonald.... Remember him? Anyway I agree with you ... Those were the best days back then... And gone forever.

Take Care and glad to see that you are still alive and well

What was the name of your band/group? I remember the best band we had at Pionier EM club December '70 - THE SOUND OF TYME - from somewhere England
The band was called Credo. We played at the Legion between 74 and 76. We also played as Sheveline,Hamlet and Camden from 72 to 74 at US Bases from Fulda to Garmisch. Thanks to all we met for some wonderful memories.

Thanks for all you did, I know I wasn't there during your time slots but I know you guys would have put out the best. The German group that followed The Sound of Tyme was the pits. I can still remember one limerick the SOT did -
There was a young lady from Ealing
Who had a peculiar feeling
She laid on her back
And opened her crack
And pissed all over the ceiling
Ahh, sing us another one do.....
Wish to hell I could remember the others they did.

Do you mean 548 LEM CO? I WAS THERE FROM 86-88 I WAS A GENERATOR MECH WORKING AT GROSSAUHEIM. I LIVED ON THE 3RD FLOOR AND THE MOTORPOOL LIVED ON THE 2ND FLOOR. MOTOR POOL SGT WAS COOL, I FORGOT HIS NAME IF I HEARD IT I WILL REMEMBER. HOPE TO HERE FROM YOU, TAKE CARE.
I was in the supply room 1987-1989...Capt Kelsy Harris (female)...The motor pool was SSG Quinlan. After CPT Harris left we got a male Cpt. I was the guy that was "Captain for a Day" and made the newspaper. I worked with sgt Arce and SSG Richardson. I guess messing with all those people files in the supply room the names stayed. Hope life is good to y'all!

Hey Randy. I was in the 507th from Aug 70 until it deactivated. I remember your name, and if I remember correctly you replaced Bill Payne. Where are/were you from Randy? If you have not found our group on facebook have a look. Go to groups and search "US Army in Hanau Germany". You will enjoy. It is good to hear from you. I will look forward to seeing and hearing from you more in the future.

I was in B 2/43 ADA on Underwood Kaserne from Sep '90 to Jul '92. Went to Desert Storm with 'em. Our work site was on Fliegerhorst. Hanau was great! I spent many weekends in the Electric Cowboy (shout out to my Launcher Dog buds).

I wasn't a member but I practically lived there from 78-95. It was my home away from home. You are so lucky to have found that wonderful memory of the place.

Christa,
You have it all backwards...he would be more like a MSNBC or CNN Viewer that's what they feed into the American Public's head...not a Fox News viewer. His Father must be Ed Shultz and he Mother must be Racheal Maddox.

Surfing the net and found that pioneer kaserne has closed (yes I'm late) I was there from 83 to 86, 19th maint. Junkmen I think it was, If you came into the kaserne my barracks was in that row to the right (all the way back second to last row). Great times in hanau I was in my 20s and single..who am I kidding I had a bal!! Great friends great soldiers and awsome fun sad to see it so vacant.
