Where is all this info coming from cause I am not finding any info but what is posted here. Also, I've been to moon lake and I am finding a tiny bit hard to believe that a car was submerged in that tiny "lake" for 5 years and no one noticed. My husband and his squad use to run around moon lake like every... tuesday... for several years. We had Org days with people canoeing(sp?) and no one noticed. I don't know... I just would like to some kinda of report or official update.
Moon Lake was not being drained, the water level was taken down approximately 5 feet. After this happened is when the car was discovered. I haven't heard of anything official.

Classified means information about the incident has not been released to the public. Anything that is being said is speculation.

If she came up missing while he was away over seas is it possable to say maybe she like so many other army wives had a love life on the side that went haywire? i know its a stretch something like that just never happens now does it?

Seen the comment about abuse going unpunished by military and the disappointment in the Military for not punishing the suspect....bottom line is this if it happens off post it is hard for the Chain of Command to do anything (hands are tied)..then even when it happens on post and is reported to social services there is an investigation and the Chain of Command has to wait the results...last situation is that the victem either doesnt report it or doesnt want to press charges. Dont blame the Military in an entirety. As a person of Seniority I will punish my Sodliers to the fullest extent if I have the authority..as for Moon Lake I went to the lake about a month after the car was discovered and it was being drained (not completely) for some sort of construction and someone seen the antennea...also it was put out that a womans body was in the car...the rest I know is all hear say or rumors...like the husband reported to his next duty station single (Alaska)...also that he had reported her missing and that this had happened like 5 years earlier. Bottom line I only know what was put out while I was on Fort Riley..

Read up on Army Times and Moon Lake. You will have all your answers. Boy were a lot of you wrong in your predictions. Those who assumed the husband was guilty, well you were wrong. Not to sound rude, but honestly a lot of you have nothing better to do then to act like you KNOW everything. I worked on this case and I know for a fact it was CONFIDENTIAL!!!!

That was my sister in law that was found in that car. While my brother was off fighting for our country, this man took her life while my brother thought she just ran off and left him. Our thoughts and prayers should go out to him and his children.
