My son is also stationed at Fort Hood. He tells me the food they serve the guys isn't fit to eat, unless the dignitaries come to visit the base. Then they fix GREAT food so they'll think our guys are eating well all the time. Things need to change definitely.
This is true I hear the food is so bad most of the time my son goes off post for fast foods even though this comes out of his paycheck. He is paying for food twice. There is a lot going on they hide....

Suck it up! Grow up ya baby! These are the things that are told to soldiers in the army. Meanwhile, the death toll in Iraq to scuicide was 29 soldiers. Compare that death toll to the other services even the Marine Corps and the Army still has the highest rate! Think about that if you are not too brainwashed

I dont care what a son or daughter says, we as NCO's have to be strict. If a soldier is being hit than they should know there is a proper way to report it. Talking to a mother who will run to her senator is not the right answer. Oh, and the food is not that bad. No its not home cooked, but its better than eat MRE's. So really people who have never been here and are speaking word of mouth should really come visit. Other wise tell your child, who obviously is not ready to be in the army, to go talk to IG and deal with his chain of command that way. REALLY!!!!
