I figured a commander would get fired. Howabout the 1Sgt of the Sq? Sounds to me like he wasn`t exactly on top of the situation or this might not have happened.

My daughter reports to Lackland Aug 21. What assurance do we have that this depravity has stopped?... Anyone willing to stand and commit?

John, I am retired from the AF. I would advise you to let her know that if anything like this even starts with her that she needs to contact you and also report it. Lot of misconsceptions about the military ,especially the AF. A woman does not have to endure this sort of thing. However, that is guarantee that someone might not try it. She should report it immediately.
At this time it is likely everybody is gunshy and will be watching to make sure it does not happen. This investiagtion is still going on at Lackland and will be for a while,it is not complete. So doubt she will have any trouble. Later maybe, when things blow over. She just has to report any inapproptiate behavior . The AF has a Sexual Assault Task Force on every base she can contact if needed.she can also contact the OSI, if she id afraid to talk to her 1Sgt about it.

Guess What!! The broom and carpet are back!! My daughter was assaulted big time in Afghanistan, TBD from IED. AF Did not know where she was. Lackland OSI comment--"All you imagination."

Was there at basic training. Was one of the most ridiculous experiences of my life. The first day a fellow recruit was pushed down the stairs ,We were later warned to keep our mouths shut up about it.. Also on the first day the Sarge took my glasses off my face and threw them on the ground ,saying they were not regulation. This left me with no glasses . I had been tested for ones from the Air Force ,but it was another 2 weeks before they gave them to me. This was ridiculous as when we were given instructions and I am near sited so could not always see what was being done. I was yelled at for even bringing this up and called names. I was not given glasses ,nor was I allowed to sit up front where I could see better. I was told right away by the Sarge that"I can tell who is going to make it or not the first day" . This as he exclaimed was based on the look in our eyes. When they issued laundry bags they were short on them so I was not issued one. I Got yelled at for not having one later on. I was finally given one ,but not long after the sarge took it and said he needed it for a guy that is sick . I was later yelled at once again for not having a laundry bag. I was told once that the toilets were not being cleaned well in the back of them by the person assigned to clean them,so I was asked to do it.. I cleaned the back of one and proceeded to clean anywhere else i saw it was needed and was yelled at for that as I was told only to clean the backs. I did the rest ,only cleaning the back as instructed. The next day the Sarge was complaining to me about the toilets . Since he instructed only the backs were clean and he inspected them long after they were cleaned this made no sense. I was issued shirts with loose buttons. The sarge once took a swing at me but missed. He even insisted once I perform oral sex on him ,which I refused. We were warned once in the dayroom about keeping our mouths shut and trying to fight him. This was mixed in about a talk about his religion and about how great he was because his relationship with God makes him great. he said anyone fighting him would lose because God was on his side. His English was horrible and sometimes hard to understand. The sarge would inspect e or my locker or bed most days. The entire time I was there I never once saw him go through another locker but mine or use a finger just to check to see if my bad had any dust on it. he did once throw the blankets and sheets of a bed but as far as stopping and looking things over ,he only did that to me. It is like having to take a test everyday, that no one else has to take . If I saw that guy on the street today I would punch him in the face.
