Martin Heinrich is poor only in the sense that he never held a real job in his whole life.

He is "rich" in the sense that he was groomed like a gelding on order to promote the progressive elitist agenda.

He supports internet sales taxes. For that, he loses my vote.

Yes,

New Mexico continues to cement it's place at the bottom of the list for income, education, and business by selecting another "tax and spend" progressive.

Also all New Mexicans that care about the bill of rights and their freedoms needs to watch this bozo's votes on those issues as well.

Stupid is as stupid does.

talking stupid. The problems with our state have nothing to do with what our Senators of both parties have been able to do in DC on our behalf. Federal spending for the bases, the labs, National Parks, university research, water projects, and the Army Corps are some of our most important economic drivers. The idiotic federal meat cleaver cuts are dragging us down further than other states.

Our size, location, geography, lack of water, low population density, lack of respect for education and professionalism and dependence the extraction industries that hold us back more than anything else.

Past Senators and Representatives did those things. I have not seen this guy do a whole lot to support.

That carbon tax (something this bozo supports) will sure help New Mexico (look at how much funding goes directly into State coffers from oil and natural gas in this state). Santa Fe SURE DOES enjoy that money. Without it the New Mexico education system would be screwed (most state funding for education comes directly from tax and royalties on this oil and gas). Fat Bill even made it a point to steal principal from this fund when he first became Gov. so he could spend it as he wanted to. Should we let the oil and gas companies pollute? No. Shoud we encourage them to develop and grow? Yes. The carbon tax discourages growth.

He just voted for the expanded background checks (that law was a wolf in sheep's clothing) giving the DOJ extensive powers to start registration and other actions. Increasing background checks is OK. Giving a lieing cheathing jerk like Holder more unchecked power is a sin. Write a good law for more background checks but not giving the excutive branch free reign and erroding the bill of rights and it will probably pass.

By the way borrowing $0.47 out of every dollar you spend does not work in the long run. Try it some time. The "meat cleave" you refer to was a POTUS idea. He bluffed and they didn't.

Ah, I can't be a heathen, as I am Catholic. A heathen is someone who doesn't belong to a widespread religion. Whether Christian, Jew, or Muslim.

Being a Catholic doesn't mean you can pound your chest repeatedly in church and then go out in public and say you don't believe in some of it's teachings to suit your purpose.

you are supposed to give up thinking and actually making moral choices and just accept that the men in charge know what is best.
