I wish those people on the eastside would get their act together and get Montana widened like they wanted a year ago. The EPA and Texas Environmental Quality agency need to allow the lanes to be opened like they were before. None of this "Green Space" crap that stifles growth and causes traffic congestion. Susie Byrd and Courtney Niland need to stay out of the fray. Let Texas Dot do their thing. Dr. Noe and Steve Ortega have shown their stupidity in handling city business for the last year.

I actually agree with you but they have bigger fish to fly apparently. They're focused on downtown revitalization, the new ballpark, the mayoral race and immigration and don't care about infrastructure, creating jobs and making life easier for all the people who commute to Bliss.

Be glad when Susie Byrd, Steve Ortega and Mayor Cook are out of the mix. Then maybe we will get some solid citizens not so bent on spending money like it was water. Bet they want to beautify the whole roadway!

Politics is a dirty business as they play hardball. The average Joe Sixpack can't get into the game without connections, money and clout. There will continue to be a ruling class, the middle class and those who get the shaft. Just be glad you're in the middle group.

The middle class is getting the shaft, you idiot. Who do you think does all the work and pays all the taxes?
