Jesus Christ....where was the security here?....We are getting more like America everyday....next Assange will have Australian secret documents and all because our security is almost non existent...Now we have military weapons on the street, someone wants them for something big...all this terrorism checking at airports and reporting suspicious behavior...and our military can't keep some crims off one little boat....great going there...and it isn't the first time either...a group got onto a base not long ago...I wonder if they are linked or if they are people that Gillard has let into the community on work visa's along with the people smugglers that are running their bussiness from here....biggest boom in history and we can't afford decent protection for our forces or what they have to guard....God damn it!

Everything has been cut by this Government, we have no border security, and really no proper assessment of people coming into this country via boats, as can be seen by the Captain Emad fiasco, and other people smugglers allowed in... Crime from Lebanese Muslims is rampant in Sydney, with nightly drive by shootings, and police unable to stop it.... Now this, how long before we have bombs going off in capitol cities, after all it has happened in London and New York, what makes us think we are immune... The only thing that doesn't get cut are politicians wages, and their obscene lurks and perks... When do politicians start putting their country and citizens first, hundreds of thousands of young Australians gave their lives - and still do, so future generations could live in peace in this country, without foresight of the future, and pandering to every whim of organisations such as the UN, GOVERNMENTS HAVE CHANGED ALL THAT...

Lol, 2 of the 14 have inbuilt magazines, the others can most likely still be single-shot fired, the thief probably has magazines already.
I guess they'll turn up in western Sydney eventually.

In a separate Darwin robbery, another five firearms and a large amount of cash were stolen from a business at Berrimah, near Darwin, about 5.30am, when a shop's gun safe was broken into.

But police have not yet identified any link between the two thefts.

A: Seems the theives had prior knowledge on both....that would make two robberies, both on the same day and both for weapons and both robberies where the perps had inside info.....coincidence...what's the chances!

LOL I suggest asking Gina Rinehart to "fix it" because the funding for all government resources have been cut to the bone. Mining refused to be taxed, however, and Casinos are hopeless sources of revenue as well. The rich do like to keep their money.

For more information on how we're losing and the rich are still winning, our government resources have dried up and blown away in the wind, the doco on the thread "Why Poverty: Park Avenue" is worth taking a look at.

And don't be so insulting next time if you don't mind.

Its the Tamils from Sri Lanka. They need cash & weapons to re-start their guerrilla war over there. Thats why they're all on boats trying to get over here.

Oh well that's alright then ;)

Don't know what can be done about 'them', but I did find it fascinating and really wanted to see a similar treatment of the business models here, and how much they line the pollies pockets and who they are and how much etc etc...

The graphs were useful, as well as the historical information and the amounts involved.

Did you see "Solar Mamas"? Another great episode in that series.

It was very interesting and I have to say depressing to see that so few are controlling so much of the wealth, so much so that the American dream is all but over accept for a lucky few who make it inspite of the richies owning most everything.
Nope, I missed Solar Mama's...it looks good...will watch it later tonigh...ta!

I was busy in the galley polishing the brass when I was overpowered by a very muscular man in tight black pants and a clean white t-shirt that was also very tight. He smelt very strongly of Jean-Paul Gaultier Le Male (Summer). He pushed me down and that's where I stayed for sometime.
