When I was in Minot we were awarded the "Outstanding Unit Award". I still take pride in that after all these years so my heart goes out to the Airman who lost thier life. My prayers and thoughts are with you. When guarding freedom we sometimes pay an expensive price and forget the ones here taking care of business.

Thanks to all service men and women active and veterans who risk their lives to defend our country. Even if he was just loading practice bombs under a plane.

I would like to add condolences to the family from this retired MSgt who knows all too well the dangers in military operations. Although you endeavor to retain safety, accidents do happen. It's highly unfortunate that this one was fatal. Again, my condolences to the family.

You're an idiot. An Airman has lost his life while serving this Great country for your freedom. And Minot AFB houses some of the most powerful weapons in the world which enables us to participate in the deterence of Nuclear attacks, and future attacks on our Homeland. You had better fear the day Minot AFB is shut down. As our arsenal of defense would have been greatly diminished. My prayers go out to his family for their loss. I give my thanks for my fellow Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines who proudly serve. God Bless them All.

I don't know who you were calling an idiot but I said the same thing about Grand Forks AFB when they removed the fighters, bombers and missiles as you said about Minot AFB. Having served at both bases and retiring from Minot, I can say they have served us quite well over the years. Perhaps some day we won't need either base but I don't expect to see that in your or my time.
wonder what happend

im sorry to say but that's not exactly what happened its the air forces fault the airman are rushed to fix everything and the supervisors are telling them you have this amount of time to get it done which isn't the case by the book there doing it wrong there not checking things as there meant to and making mistakes im so glad that the people running the trailer shop are more worried about looking good for everyone else than doing the job right maybe if the kid wasn't rushed and did his job like its says in the book instead of being worried if his superiors were going to yell at him for taking too much time hed still be here and im sorry for the loss but it could have not happened if the job was done correctly

Not sure where you're getting your information but in my 20 years, no one ever rushed me to not do it right in the first place.
