How so the US congress meetings where transparent to arm the rebels thus save lives and counter Russian arms. Even as Iranian soldiers poor in to advise if not more. The Turks will do the same advise, intelligence and logistics. The side with more heart will prevail.

When is it that you VERY PRO if not fanatical Russian/USSR people will learn? People in general in the US don't care about the Russian Federation or the past USSR! We have bigger problems of our own to consider. Why is it all you Pro-Russian people think that we in the US have anymore say in what our government does than you in Russia do? We don't and you have little to no say either. As people we are not much different. We want to work, we want to raise our families as we want and we all want to go have some good times with the person we choose. Sound so different?????????? What's the problem? I see none with the exception that "SOME" here wish to create one. Speak your mind say what you want but my words are right.

For he to describe others must make him an Xspurt in that field.

Haven't you heard there is a new cold war,?? Where have you been hiding in the dunney??. Yeltsin saw what you did in Libya and he knew the score, after all he'd just been on the "greatfull to receive end of Western conspirators working to destabilize political and economic victims".
I know the US got dragged into Libya, against her will, but there is the Congo DR. Still to worry about. And Japan buying a territory off of it self to settle a territorial dispute, was an ominous sign when the US is reevaluating in the Pacific.
Also there is the never ending recession, they call it the great depression in economic jargon now.
Political solution to empire dislocation is war.
And there is the annual fiscal cliff, why not just go back to paying the same tax you did before Ronald, Clinton and
big mouth little brain W Bush.
Remember only 30 years ago the National debt was less than 1trillion.
Has everything increased in monetary value 16 times over that period.

So a worker on $ 400 a week would now get $ 6400 a week.

Putin is making the chess moves for a Cold War. He seems to fear old soviet nations joining NATO , like Georgia soon. Blackmail, murder pole fixing ... I don't think Yeltsin saw this coming... To much vodka handed to him by FSB fellows. The money system is on paper only. The US has no intention of paying back debt, they print there own money.

Very good point, I think we have many on here that still want the cold war to exist and do not realize that the US and Russia work together today not as enemies but more as allies, China is working toward it but is not quite there. Do you think the Chinese would have lent 3 trillion dollars to the US if they were enemies? They need each other for economic reasons and for China to put up another 10 trillion dollars is just good economic sense for trading purposes. the US puts up billions of dollars to other countries such as Israel and Pakistan and life goes on.

Putin has recognized whats going on,why does NATO exist?when Gorbachov did his thing and pulled out of East Germany and told us all evrything is going to be different, one of the understandings was that Nato would not expand Eastward, since then they are almost in every Country bordering Russia thats why they are pissed off about it,how would the US like it if the Russians or Chinese had troops and missiles in Mexico?and don't forget the violent Global rampage Nato has been on for the past twenty years which you have been part of,and going off your posts proud of it.

It's wrong to think any old hand shake agreement with different administrations at the helm in both countries will honor anything a decade or two or three later. Yeltsin stripped the KGB of power and created many sovereign sub agencies-departments, because of to much control and corruption issues. Now Putin has created a much larger monster than the KGB with this FSB that shut down the other agencies and became the sole controlling element also increasing its monetary budget many dollars more than the KGB for the entire Soviet Union. Has Putin brought freedom to Russia... Hmm ask the Pussy Cat Dolls. Ask Ukraine. Ask Belarus. Ask Georgia. Ask Poland. Hell no he is bringing back Cold War ideas.

The problem is he sees Nato as a bad thing when it's mandate is just the opposite. Nato is their to protect its members agains foreign aggressors. sure if russia was to antagonize Georgia to a state of war then Nato would step in and help but if there is no antagonism nor trouble Nato is nothing.

What World do you live in?NATO has been breaking International Law and its own charter ever since its savage attack on Yugoslavia, also the UN Charter,FACT,if you think what we did in Libya is a success you really want your head tested, the place is a charnel House, you talk about the Libyan government, there is no Government just marauding gangs of killers,Sarkozy and Cameron should be in a War crimes Court, those savages in Libya were lynching Black people from Week one of that so called uprising, they hung a Policeman from the window of Bengahzi City hall then hacked his head off as the mob took photos on their cell phones, these are the same filth that now infest Syria.
