Sounds like what Milan needs. This town will never be able to expand or create more jobs as long as the arsenal has a grip on so much of the land. Would hurt initially. But benefit in the long term.

Screw you. I work there and desperately need my job! Do you think they will not continue to have all that land? It will be a storage facility. I have mouths to feed and bills to pay. Anyone happy to see so many people lose their jobs is just despicable and disturbing.

What is so sad is the greed! Why wasn't BAE allowed to run MAAP?

People don't want to invest in run down buildings. Milan needs land in Order to grow. I have been in business and development for a number of years. Large companies want to see growth in an area before investing money. The arsenal isn't what it was ten years ago. We can't hold on to the past. It's time for a change.

1) you can't sell the land or even desk because it has been "exposed" to explosives. A DOD contractor must run it. It's a beautiful area and a waste to greed & our economy. AO has tried to cripple MAAP because WE are a serios threat in production, quality and have pride in working at MAAP. BAE, AO needs an intervention!!!!!!!!

The land is not and never was in the city limits so how would that benefit the city. The US gov wouldn't try and track down the heirs of the former property owners even if there wasn't explosives.

Now they say as of Tuesday, there will be no more production run at MAAP! So why hire people on Monday to lay them off on Tuesday.
