Merely wishful thinking by the social liberals that only care about banning firearms from law abiding citizens.

It is possible that persons running across the results of a spray of buckshot and simply assumed that the "assault weapon" was an "Automatic" rifle rather then the original assault weapon a shotgun.

Ever notice just how many jew politicians are the anti-gun platform? Blumenthal, Feinstein, Bloomberg, Levine, Schumer and the former sec. of state, the old woman with the thousand brooches. And most of our media is owned by jews in Connecticut. Does anyone relize there are two Connecticut Schhol Of Broadcasting sites here in Ct.? So not only do they pay them to say what they want, they even teach them. It's the editors and those that actually write the news that are the poison. There is no more journalism, no real revealing investigations, just cr@p presented as such. With no-b@lls Obama having been bought, there will never be any charges brought against these people that are poisoning our citizens. So You Think You Can Dance? Let's see you dance out of the debt to the Chinese and the Wall Street crooks.

Democrat Communist Liberal deviants commonly start false memes and continue them until many people believe their lies and nonsense. Do any of them acknowledge the complete contradictions between the war mongering Dems of the late 1990s, then becoming the anti-war Dems as they tried to disrupt the War on Terror, then the war mongering Dems under Obama? Here's the kicker in the face for voters... it's been all the same Dems.

This should serve as clear example of why those of us who support gun rights would not support Obama's proposed gun legislation. A ban on, so called, "assault rifles" or high cap magazines will do nothing to prevent mass shootings. If you want to prevent mass killings then you have to focus your time, energy, and financial resources on things that can actually have an impact on these events, like increasing security, and those who commit these crimes.

Some, as is the case with this shooting, might be prevented by addressing the way we deal with people who suffer from mental disorders...yet no one is proposing solutions to this aspect of mass killings.

The reality that all American's need to face however, is the fact that there's nothing that can be done to eliminate mass killings entirely. Incidents like this are just going to happen sometimes no matter what society does hoping to prevent it.

I myself care more about mass killings of all kind, I work security and can't afford to limit my vision to current fads of death and destruction or I could end up like the security officer killed. Humans can use / abuse any hazard to kill gun or else wise. And like others in my profession I know my uniform marks me as a prime target.

News reports, especially from major media outlets, should be based on fact and not assumptions. The true fact is that that social liberals want to classify all firearms as assault weapons and ban the private possession of firearms by law abiding citizens while doing nothing to stop criminals and crazies from preying on society.

Exactly, and we realize that Obama would not stop until every type of firearm was banned.
