Plans set for May 25 Grand Parade in Erie

Parade plans were finished last week, said William Garvey, president of the Erie nonprofit Jefferson Educational Society, which is organizing the Perry 200 Commemoration's two-year celebration of the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and Erie's role in the Battle of Lake Erie.

$100,000 from the taxpayers for a parade on streets filled with potholes surrounded by vacant buildings.

How does one get a full accounting of all the taxpayer money wasted on this crap?
