South China Sea: Navy: Liaoning's combat capability tested

It might be battle ready but is not a match for the US Navy...yet.

The Liaoning CV16 was never intended as a match against any of the USN Aircraft carrier.

Rebuild from a scratch from an empty rusty hull purchase from Ukraine,
it's main function is just as an experimental and training STOBAR Aircraft Carrier. Without a catapult onboard, its limitation like its sister ship in Russia is showing.
