LOL. The same way Russia won in Afghanistan? Where they got their butts kicked. This is a bigger joke than that comic they call the Quran. I guess they keep telling their own soldiers they are ahead so they don't quit and stop getting killed. Eventually the Assad team will all be dead. It's not what you write and say that counts, it's what you bury, and Assad is burying many soldiers and its people. Which is a great thing! LOVE IT!

That's why all your comments get the nuts? Best part of you ran down your mothers leg. If you were, which you are, down 10 to 0, you still say you are winning. Must be nice to be so stupid! LOL!

Gaddafi was not; and Assad is not, either rich, or tyrant. Both have been targeted by the West to be taken down, because they wanted their countries to be independent, and prosperous; and that is not to the taste of the Western Multinational Corporations. Both have also been hated by the Gulf Monarchs, as they came as leaders after peoplesÂ’ revolutions, which deposed of their Monarchs.
Well said!

The syrian regime have to give their combatants hope. Victory is just around the corner, they will preach to their soldiers. It's not like they can tell them that things are desperate and that their society is deteriorating.

LOL!! The only ones who are "desperate" are the rebels, who just tried to kidnap UN peacekeepers in a desperate attempt to get help from the outside! The Syrian government has the full backing of Russia, Iran and China, along with support from the BRICS nations!

The Syrian does have the full backing of China, Iran and Russia. They are very loyal friends and will see Assad to the end, no matter how much they may lose during that time. I think ALL sides are desperate these days. Any attention the rebels can get would be of some assistance to them. We already know that Assad is desperate. How will he continue to pay for this war of attrition? His best case scenario now seems to be that he will rule over a wasteland. Great job.

Cash rich nations like Russia and China can keep Assad going forever! They will supply the Syrian government with whatever they need to put down this rebellion.

So we can agree that this civil war is not an internal conflict, but has major players who are supporting Assad with whatever means they can provide him. China and Russia can jostle over who can provide aslyum for Assad when he is finally forced to flee Syria.

This "conflict" has been encouraged, instigated, and supported by foreigners since the beginning! It is definitely becoming a war by proxy.

The Russian and Chinese economies have improved tremendously over the last several years! Too bad for the West that they cannot say the same.
