This story is so full of crap it aint funny. There are no anti-bowe rallies any where near this town of Hailey. So the kids in the town have done what all kids every where do and its called graffiti. That's it no sympathy needed or deserved.

All of you better watch out
Bird dog could end up being Secretary of State after all this. Obama might give him triple Purple Hearts for being wounded a prisoner and becoming Muslim .

You got that right! Being “blindsided” by our reaction to this traitor shows how totally out of touch with true Americans this whole town is. I‘ll bet, even though DJT carried Idaho, Hillary carried Hailey!

Private Eddie Slovik was put in front of a firing squad for doing less during World War ll.

If this traitor/deserter has a conscience he is going to have a hell of a time living with what he did. Among to deal with is the death of US soldiers looking for this coward deserter.

The sick part: We all know every reporting agency in the world wants to interview him.
His lawyer and the gates of an Army base has probably kept those reporters at bay.
I wonder if his lawyer has also kept the reporters at bay from his parents, but then again,
too many reporting agencies are Liberal, and their probably cuddling the parents with donuts and coffee.

I'm not clear on Bergdahl's true sentence.
Media reports said he was free to leave, However, he was given a $1,000 fine for ten months.
That indicates, the Army will keep him for those 10 Months and take $1,000 of his $1,600 monthly E-1 Pay.
Normally someone in that position has Extra duty? Extra hours of working on scrubbing toilet bowls? There was nothing said of this.

But I'm certain when he's Finally out, and the final judgement of his appeal has been placed, someone will be interviewing a tearful Bergdahl.

By now, he probably wishes he had joined the Girl Scouts instead of the United States Army,
But we all have that wish.

Warn‘t Slovik a draftee who just wanted to go back home to his wife and baby? Big difference between that and some single guy joining the Army voluntarily and then deserting, especially the way Bergdahl did.

Big differences between Eddie Slovik and Bergdahl.

Slovik was drafted. There were no standards to get in the Military, other than a medical physical
Slovik was up front about not serving, and taken out of his company and put to court martial.
He was given a death sentence to be an example.
Eddie Slovik was a better man than the draft dodgers of the Vietnam war who fled to Canada, at least Eddie tried.

Bergdahl volunteered in a time where so many are turned down for service because they can't pass the entrance exam, or they have a police record.
Bergdahl went out with his brothers, and deserted them in the field.
He got six people killed, and four injured directly.
Bergdahl was dishonorable in front of the enemy

If one of those had to be shot and killed, from that description and one let go. You would think it would be reversed above.
