The Military's Stranglehold on America
#1 Jul 5, 2012
I believe that it is not that we feel distant, but we are just feed up at being lied to while spending billions for something that no one can clearly define in benefits other than playing the terrorism card. But there are many countries that we can fit into that class. To make matters worse it appears the Afghan people do not "like" us and want us to leave. The ones that don't are the ones making millions off of us.

The military industrial complex Eisenhower warned us for, is in charge of American foreign policy. Since military tasks for war operations have been privatised, big military companies influence politicians to go to war, because thousends of billions can be gained. These companies, like the Carlyle groep, have politicians as senior advisers (people like Bush senior and Dick Cheney). They have the insiders and the money to influence foreign policy and decission making to go to war!
