Japan was delusional about America being a superpower before Obama took control of the White House in 2009 as the socialistic and Mozlem Brother Sympathizer dictator of America who was able to redistribute the American people's money all over the world and made America the weakest 'paper tiger'. America which is falling rapidly to self destruction and bankruptcy by Obama cannot be socialistic superpower anymore and it cannot afford spending money on wars with North Korea. Japan must be disappointed with the turn that America took under Obama to become third world country of the poor, unemployed and disabled that rule the country with majority of food stamps.

Many Japanese like PM Abe said that 'Comfort Women' were actually paid prostitutes and deny 'Rape of Nanjing'.

Despite the fact that our economy has seen hard times of late, we are by no means a crippled state... we have the most powerful military by a factor of around 13, and have more funding in our military than the next 12 countries combined.

. The Taliban has been defeated as a global force. Evil will exist by whatever name, and dealing with that is a local challenge. NK will be summarily defeated, either by the Un allies or, more likely, by China. You remember China, just across the straits from you, yes?

Kenhunt has a point, the Taliban as a whole was defeated easily. Its the fact that they like to play hide and go seek and use civilians as shields. Either way, I do agree that China will not put up with nuclear threats, especially so close to home. It's called nuclear fallout and China is the most at risk.

Using something the Japanese did 60 years ago is irrelevant, especially since this Japanese culture is completely different. They people today had nothing to do with what the people back then did, not to mention the master minds of those horrendous attacks on the Asian people were all hanged.

It would be like still trying to blame the Germans for the atrocities of the Nazi's

MY guess is CHINA will intervene BEFORE a button is PUSHED..Almost every country has been helped financially by China..and they are in DEBT to her...SO, WHAT will be the land's WORTH if is BOMBED,..Ripped apart and TOXIC GASES are released???.. I do 't THINK China will allow that....LAND NEVER LOSES IT'S VALUE, as LONG it can turn a Tidy PROFIT!!

In fact, last month 663,000 Americans of all ages stopped working and they now enjoy the Obama check which is more money that they get if they go to work reaching as much as 40,000 if one is familiar with all the handout from Obama. 90 million Americans do not work and 62 million get food stamps which prove that America with 17000 billion dollar debt cannot be superpower and fight the dangerous North Korea. Obama knows that everyone who gets his check for life will never go back to work and will always vote for him to make sure that the check will continue and continue with doing anything at all…

Where was the bushido spirit when Japan signed the 'unconditional surrender'?
signing unfair 'unconditional surrender' takes courage and bushido spirit. but japan was not morally defeated even though many country , usa, uk, anzac, dutch etc ganged up on one japan.
usa committed more crimes on hiroshima and nagasaki.
