that is stupid because all them poeple getting fired for no reason n that stupid ass man need to fire himself dumb man also you taking these people jobs that they worked for and what make it worse they have to find new jobs and that make it hard for the poeople who tring to get a a job its going to harder for them than it is for the people who getting fired. They need to rethink all that cuz that going to cause alot of drama for them and for the people who still looking for a job.

What really does not make sense is they knew this was coming for such a long time. I worked there for almost 31 years and they knew it back in 70's and 80's but they just kept building gas guzzlers and just getting by. They would never do anything to try and build a vehicle that would give good gas mileage as the foriegn auto makers has! Go to chrysler.com and look for Chryslers best fuel mileage car and see what you get. People are going to the vehicles that give them the best mileage and quality! They will spend millions of dollars to retool the plant to build another gas eating vehicle, then put on 2 shifts and build the heck of them and then say opps we goofed and lay off thousands! Been there Done that! What about some of the people that got actually screwed by the company some of the foremans there that give them their best for all those years only to retire to a 5 to 6 hundred dollar pension and now are taking most of their benefits away and have never got a raise while being retired no bonuses no cost of living no nuthing but taking away from them? We were protected by our unions but management was not! try to live on $500.00 or $600.00 a month in today,s world and see what kind of life you have! Not Much! Many of the top executives dont have to worry now do they? This was not easy work, many of the summers were done by blood sweat and whatever just to get you by! We made good money but you worked for it! Now just take the thousands of people that work there now, where will they turn, where will they go? Go thousands of miles away -no friends -- no family! They may even get there and find the plant they are going to is about to close, when will this stop? Newarks closing is not good, not good for the people, not good for Newark, not good for Delaware, and not good for surrounding communities and so on! Why, back when they brought the Durango to Newark, could they have put a better gas sufficient vehicle there and we would not be worrying about this now? All the employees there now my heart goes out to you, because now you have to pick up the pieces and start your lives all over and learn a new trade and do what you must to survive! God Bless you all!, and GOOD LUCK!

FGH Sr. comments are better and wiser than all of the CEO's and top executives of Chrysler and other automakers. The trouble is NOT on the solid grounds of the good workers but the lack of vision of the management. The words for them are PROFIT AND SHARES, not investment in good quality products.

My heart and blessings are with all those innocent and good workers that will lose their jobs because of bad people at the top. THEY are the ones who should be fired.
