Sunstar Heating and Aire is NOT a reliable company. Michael R. Sheele, Barbara A. Sheele and Kevin R. Sheele, the owners of Sunstar Heating and Aire have numerous IRS federal tax liens against them. Serial Number: 162700804 for $10,558.18, Serial Number: 869605888 for $2,466.50 and 869507621 for $12,530.09. IRS LIEN UNIT PHONE NUMBER: 1 800 829 7650. Also, Kevin R. Sheele was convicted of drugs, Maricopa County Superior Court docket# CR2004-042993 and has an order of protection against him docket# CV1997-092299 CV1998-092447 CV2004-010717 CV2005-009949.

Stay away from Sunstar Heating and Aire. They were late, installed a faulty air-conditioning unit and left a really big mess around our house. We should have stayed at a hotel and waited three days until we got a reliable, honest company. We made a BIG mistake and used these crooks. It wasn't worth it.

Wow, where do I start? These people are inept crooks. They left trash all over the place, showed up late everytime, and overcharged us. We are a family, my wife and I and our three kids and cat & dog. These people only care about getting your money and running. You've been warned!

Run, don't walk from these crooks. Sunstar Heating and Aire did more damage than good. If your blower goes, just stay at a hotel until you can get a reliable company. I know it'll be inconvenient. But, it's like wearing a safety belt, in the long run, it'll be worth it. I wish I knew to look on this site prior to calling these criminals. The Better Business Bureau is just as worthless.

Because of Sunstar Heating and Aire, we had to spend an extra $1500. We should have just gone to Home Depot, bought an air handler and installed it ourselves. If you have a lot of extra money and time, don't care about customer service, this company is for you. Good luck, you're going to need it!!!

We should have done our homework. Sunstar Heating and Aire is an extremely bad company. They came over to repair our Air conditioning unit. They ruined it. We had another company come in. It works fine now.

The repairman from Sunstar Heating and Aire didn't know what he was doing. We needed an airhandler for our unit and he messed it up. This cost us time and money. We recommend you try another company. Apparently, Sunstar Haeting and Aire pay the Better Business Bureau money and get high ratings. The truth is Sunstar Heating and Aire shouldn't be in business. We hired another company that did a perfect job. Hopefully, when word gets out they'll go out of business.

Sunstar Heating & Aire is a full blown monkey business. Not sure what their reasoning is but they can "NOT" be trusted. We called them for a simple service call. Our family even gave free refreshments. They did more damage than anything. Based on our very bad experience, we recommend you find somebody else.

Don't choose this company if you want a proper repair done on your air conditioning unit. They made a mistake on our air conditioner and didn't want to tale responsibility.

Sunstar Heating and Aire is a pretty unprofessional business. We are still surprised at the poor attitude and reckless behavior of these people. They showed up late. Left a mess. Changed their price, to increase it of course. Then, didn't really fix the air conditioning unit. We asked Sunstar a question and their response was 'That’s the manufacturer’s responsibility.', so while Sunstar Heating and Aire was happy to take our money at the time, they weren’t willing to resolve an issue with the unit they originally installed. The underlying principle is that we don’t have a financial relationship with the manufacturer... and therefore no leverage in negotiating a remedy. Sunstar took our money. It was Sunstar Heating and Aires responsibility to fix the problem and they failed. Finally, after all of the problems Sunstar caused, we called somebody else. It finally all worked out. We wouldn't even call Sunstar again even in an emergency.

This company is not trustworthy. They tried to raise the price even though we have a written quote. They left a mess. Of course, they were always late. I knew something was wrong with their technician when he parked right in front of our garage door.

Over the past weekend, we had Sunstar Heating and Aire come to our house to do a tune-up for our air-conditioning unit. The technician was very weak in his knowledge of our unit. He had a lack of skill and understanding. Our air-conditioning unit now makes a noise. I had to clean some of the trash he left outside by our unit. We recommend you try someone else.

Dont believe the lies, these are all from the same location, and the same person. Sunstar is a great company, with a great staff. Don't listen to the sour grapes of one or two losers!

I checked with Maricopa County and they confirm that Kevin Ray Sheele has a DRUG conviction and Order of Protection, also he had an arrest warrant. I don't know about you, but I don't want anybody like that in my business or in my house. Also, I called the phone number provided and Barbara A. Sheele does have "SEVERAL" IRS tax liens against her. WOW, I don't think most customers consider that a good business?

I had an appointment window of 8-10am, and even got a confirmation call. No show by 10, multiple phone calls (3 or 4). I took off of work, and missing out on earnings, and won't be able to take off again in the near future. They finally show up and ask me “is it that time of the month for you?” Sunstar Heating and Aire installed then installs a faulty air conditioner. They said,“There’s nothing they can do. That’s the manufacturer’s responsibility. That’s our policy.”

The owners of SunStar Heating and Aire, Barbara and Kevin Sheele are documented criminals. They both have IRS liens against them. Kevin has a drug conviction and an order of protection against him. Most customers trust that somehow these types of criminals will not be allowed to be in a business. This is inaccurate thinking. Not only did Kevin Sheele do a terrible job of installing a new air conditioning unit, he also left an outright mess. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They will be your worst nightmare. With all of the many negative comments and horror stories over the years on the Internet about this company, they are going out of business. They had a choice to do business the honest way and they chose not to do that. They are dearly paying for that now.

Sunstar and Aire has a real problem keeping appointments and being on time. They didn’t bring the correct equipment so they had to come back again, late. The technician had a bad attitude and wasn’t professional. They wanted money upfront prior to showing up. Finally, they didn’t have the skills to appropriately repair our unit and still wanted to charge us the full price. To add insult to injury, they left trash on the ground. If you use Sunstar Heating and Aire, we recommend you ask for references in writing and keep a copy. I don’t think they have any. I agree with the Ace of Spades comment, I don't mind if Kevin Sheele is a convicted drug dealer or was convicted of domestic abuse, beating up his wife and kids, etc. but he should at least do a good job. This was not the case with Sunstar Heating and Aire.

I have had to, on occasion, make a call to someone I did not personally have a referral to. I asked how much money the chore would cost, got cash, cut the money in half and the first half, in front of the contractor or technician staple his part to a tree, telling him that when the job is done, he could take the half off the tree, the second half I kept till it was proven to me the job was worthy of the other half. He was advised not to touch the money but to get to work. Cletus would keep an eye, because one never knows.
Look see, we hired an incompetent for president. There are rip offs plenty. One has to hold the trump Card. After all, it will be yours when done. I have him sign for it on the back of his card and tell him, "I don't want a receipt, this card is my proof, along with the torn bills, if I ever have to come and see you about this work and your incompetence. You will have your jaw wired!"
This makes them think about it when they see Cletus, 6'5" 300 pounds of street meat.
When you fight a snake, you cannot psychology this snake otherwise get in its' zone, dead. You have to go down to their level, which is the proper payment for a job well done and then if no good, tell them to take their crap and leave."
They then put a contractors lien on your place. and you bring your version of Cletus with pliers to pull a tooth. They then pull a gun, but your pistol was already in your hand, when they make the move. One Black eye to the right clown, the clown show is over.
No show, no go. contractors are plenty Fo(K them. Toss clowns out of your dwelling and premises.
I had to slap one on the head with a butcher knife flat end, he got the idea real quick. It sounds like this douche bag is full of holes.
Because he is an Ex con, he has to be treated as such because it is better for you to get ordinary first.
Ask all people supposedly doing professional work for you for references, flat and simple. Keep the upper hand, you are the boss as the consumer, not them.
