I'm only 26 years old. I had 2 back surgeries for L4-L5 one in 2009 and my last one was November 2011. About 2-3 months after I couldn't get an erection. I was with the person of my dreams and when they went to give me oral sex my penis didn't get hard. I was so embarrassed. I have a great sex life before this I'm so scared that i will never be able to please anyone ever again. And I PERFORMED VERY WELL! I feel like I lost my manhood. I'm able to get hard for about a minute or two and I try to masturbate but it will never stay hard. SOOOO SCARED WHAT SHOULD I DO??????

You are all suffering from chronic prostatitis. The prostate does not swell until the 4th and 5th decade of life. So if you are younger than 30 it probably won't be enlarged. Most urologists usually just go by urinalysis and if prostate is enlarged, which is not an accurate way to diagnose prostatitis. You need a prostate massage to check the prostatic fluid for bacteria. If no bacteria is found than more than likely you are suffering from prostatitis caused by fungi, parasite, viruses or some kind of muscular disorder of the prostate and pelvic muscles.

Some men have no choice but to live there lives out with prostatitis. Very few men are ever cured of chronic prostatitis and either find a doctor to remove their prostate or live with the condition. The only doctor in America that currently removes prostates due to prostatitis is Dr Arnon Krongrad of the Krongrad Institute in Florida.

I have the same thing. Male, 21, suddenly over night my penis went entirely numb with no erection
Over a few weeks, some feeling regained, about 20%. And I was eventually able to get very weak erections. Since then it's gradually and slowly gotten worse. I now get almost no pleasure from orgasm, watery semen, numb penis particularly the head, and slight difficulty urinating. I've seen dozens of doctors and urologists none of which have been able to tell me what's wrong.
It's made me incredibly depressed and border line Asexual. I feel like I have extreme difficulty getting close to a girl now and all of my emotional feelings aswell as physical have died. I have no quality of life, emotionally having a numb penis with erection problems is killing me.
I thought due to the depression and low energy elements it could be low testosterone, which is something you guys can have tested. They said mine is low but normal so wouldn't prescribe me any testosterone gel or anything.. Its likely something else though.

I very much relate to your post. I can only ejaculate through masturbation and even then it is very weak with hardly any flow. It can take me up to an hour to shoot my load. I'm pretty sure this is due to back surgery in 1994. I'm still in agony with my back, no quality of life at all. Can't even have sex with my lady, I've just gone right off sex. What is the point when you can't even ejaculate. Did you ever find anything that helped? To be honest I really do wish I was dead.

Ive had prostatis for 2 years and in the last 48 hours my whole genital region has gone painfully numb. An MRI, a couple prostate exams, and they decide I have such severe prostatis it's caused a spasm of pelvic muscles that has desensitized my genitals.
They've given me some antibiotics and a muscle relaxer.
All I want is to have normal sensation again. I asked if this could cause long term nerve damage or if I'm stuck like this, they said no. That's the only thing keeping me sane.
Yes chronic prostates disorder such as prostatis damages nerve if you seat for long hours in car or if you are a truck driver

Sounds like PNE is a good reason for this problem. I too suffer from this, will definitely have them look into it.

I am 44 years old and have dealt with "chronic prostatitis", or now as the literature refers to it, Chronic pelvic pain syndrome, since age 21. I have taken multiple supplements, spent thousands of dollars on treatment, including the wise-ANderson seminar in California. Unfortunately, despite all hope and optimism, things have gradually spiraled down, no pun intended. I have erectile dysfunction, and and my penis is completely numb. I can place a cube of ice on the head of my penis and not fell anything. Additionally, as my bladder fills I get this annoying pain in my left suprapubic area. The muscles in my perineum on the left side also feel weak. I am fearful that I have more nerve damage than anything else. One other thing, when I orgasm, its a very weird feeling that I feel only in the prostate area. I am seeing a urologist in feb., but I need help. I can't live like this. Anyone else out there with similar problem

KTJ, I have the exact same problems -except for ED- and have suffered from this since I was in my late teens and now I'm your age and things have gotten much worse. I used to get one pleasurable orgasm out of 5 or so, then less and less and less and for the past 2 years or 3 I have zero pleasure and have no sexual desire at all. I don't have ED but I have the numbness problem and PE. I also have semi-permanent pain in the testes. I have no sex life but sex almost never meant much for me but it sucks to feel that you're unable to enjoy the most basic pleasure just about all humans do.

Sounds like prostatis.

Don't expect to get cured in a hurry.

Doctors will tell you it's all in your head, but eventually you can prove them wrong. Be persistent.

Sorry that you've been afflicted by this. I got it at 20. I'm 28 now.

I can only comment on your second issue, and to that I would suggest using a penis health creme every day. A good creme will contain acetyl L carnitine, which will help with your sensitivity issue. Good luck.

I am 25 years old, I consider myself healthy however a little bit overweight (187cm, 100kg), used to do a lot of sport but recently spending most of my time working at the computer. I have regular sex with my long time girlfriend.

I have this problem for a very long time (like 10 years) but it was so substantial that I never cared, only recently it got really worse. When I piss, the urine stream is very small, like the pressure would be low and I feel like something is blocking the stream in my crotch (I cannot 100% say this is prostate but something around that region or maybe at the base of the penis). The same story is with semen, I have no gush ejaculation but rather the semen is trickling, I was recently able to see that during masturbation. After sex or masturbation pissing is sometime painfull, I feel burning in my penis and sometimes a little bit of pain in my crotch. Sometimes I feel strange pression in my crotch without any reason, it is far from pleasant. I also think my semen does not look like it should be (I only guess because I have never seen any other semen), my semen is not of seamless color and it looks a little bit like some jelly.

The second issue which I believe is related is that I do not feel almost any pleasure during sex, I am 100% sure this is physical not psychical issue. I get hard on without a problem and I can have a normal sex but I just donít feel anything. Orgasm might be a little painfull because I feel like semen is pushing itís way through to get out.

My semen has been checked by several doctors, also prostate was checked including USG (last time about 2 weeks ago), they were not been able to find anything, my prostate is fine and the size is OK. I do not get up at night to piss but I think Coca-Cola, tee and cofee makes me piss a lot more often, and sometimes it might be like every 20 minutes.

I got no real help from doctors because they are not able to find any problem with me, I hope maybe someone here will push me in the right direction on what to do.
Really sorry for you that this is happening at such a young age. I am 53 and noticed a change when I was about 43. I take a lot of different medications but I have stopped them all at various times to see if it helps, it doesn't. Doctors like to blame the medication.

Someone in another post mention finesteride, that is one I have never stopped, maybe I should try that for a month or two.

I have also noticed a change in the sensation of passing stools, very hard to describe but just not the same. Taking a huge dump was always to a degree, very pleasurable, not anymore. It certainly doesn't hurt but something is different.

As far as your comment on sperm, sperm can be jelly like, clumpy, various shades of white or just very watery. Your comment about the blockage is interesting enough to ask, have you ever had that checked? They can send a camera all the way in to check. If you have a large urethra, it should be rather painless, if it's small, ask them to knock you out.

I am resolved to the fact that I will probably always be this way so have purchased some sex toys to help me orgasum. With the nipples and prostate stimulated, it might be a lot easier. I am tired of beating my meat for 90 minutes to get that release, only to fall asleep disappointed.

First, eliminate caffeine from your diet. Second drink more water...its good for you and will usually work wonders toward having a healthy dick. Thirdly, no sex, no jerking off, nothing. Go at least a week maybe more but, do tease it a little, just a little from time to time until you "need" to take care of business, just dont until the time being is up. Go solo and check again. If your junk didnt return to normal after that, go see a doctor. It could be that you're body chemistry is off it happens to many men. Stress, boredom, drugs, drinking, "over doing it" among other things can trigger problems with your manhood. Eliminate that shit from your life for a little while and if the problem continues, then it could be serious
