During the revolution, the revolutionaries *(now in power)* postulated that following their assuming power peace would break out. According to revolutionary ideological intellectual theoreticians who now occupy expensive taxpayer funded Government controlled academia , America would no longer have the benefit of the foreign wars "safety valve" that was used by pre-revolutionary Government for the purposes of fomenting national unity and relieving societal stress. To counter that projected outcome, once they came to power the revolutionaries said would need to turn Americans, the one against the other and the all against the one.

There is no better example of this turning the one of us against the all, while at the same time turning the all against the one of us than revolutionary Government's unconscionable war against decent peaceful hard working inoffensive tobacco smokers - the so-called "salt of the earth" types.

It is no coincidence that this war began in California cities that are centers of radical revolutionary social activism, such as Berkeley and Long Beach. It is likewise no coincidence that such radical activist cities are home to expensive taxpayer funded Government controlled universities that are controlled by, and which are heir to, failed 60s 70s era economic and social philosophies.

The foregoing just reiterates what everyone who has been paying attention already knows, or at least suspects. Lesser thought, though, is often given to the fact that the ruling revolutionary class have used their war against decent tobacco smokers to set precedence for legal other oppressive societal change in order to implement the many other divisive and oppressive means needed to continue their despotic rule. Decent ordinary hard working worker *("middle")* class women and men who are bearing the brunt of this Brave New World the oppressive revolutionary class have built might well ask how's them thar divisive tactics workin' out?
