I believe some people are genetic inclined to gain weight. Most just eat to much and do to little. Obesity is a character flaw like alcoholism and drug use. The idea that now this would be considered a disease would be a mistake just like it was with alcohol and drugs. The government would build a whole industry around it. Don't make that mistake again.

Deliberately overlooked and side stepped in articles on obesity is the pharmacutical drugs. The mind drugs have history in fattening up the youth quickly with 40 - 50 pounds in just two weeks and then the kids are punished with diets while at the same time the male loses his sexual identity by lack of an erection. Most all persons on the mind drugs lose sexual identity and become couch potatoes.
Diabetic drugs (Metformin) fattens up victim who then is blamed for overeating. Then we have the Statin drugs that totally destroy the metabolism and the person who beside becoming forgetful by loss of their memory and having muscle atrophy and other serious side effects is still the number one money maker with the mind drugs and it's ability in taking over countries in a Coup Detat.
The list is long and includes infants given a mind drug called Reglan for spitting up.
Fattening up the public is money making for the pharmacutical industry and medical profession.
