So, the Libya intervention has cost "more than $600 million" so far?
Um, remind me how much the Iraq war cost, please? That's the huge hole that contributed far more to the deficit than anything else. If cutting the military budget (still to levels hat puts America's military spending way, way beyond that of any other nation) actually leads to more cautious and cost-effective application abroad, instead of just throwing massive amounts of money into a war that wasn't even relevant (someone remind me how many WMDs were found), surely that would be a good thing?
