Dear Brenda,

Congratulations on your surgery. How do you think it went? Have you experienced any complications?

All the best,

Hi

My eyes were a bit blurry for 2 weeks and my eyes felt a bit dry for over a month but now im fine.

I didnt have surgery to change my eye color. I had partial coloboma so the rewards for me certainly out weigh risks of surgery.

For people doing it for cosmetic reason thats
a personal choice you would have to make.

I am happy with my results.

Good Luck !

If you can do it for medical reasons why not cosmetic ? People do have liposuction because
thier obesity is a medical condition. Also people
who have been into accidents also do cosmetic surgery or trouble breathing they have rhinoplasty
and those surgeries you actually can go under general anasatasia which some of the potential complications is death actually. Im not sure if
they put you under general anastasia for implanting
a lens or just local anatasia which is safe.

Dear Brenda,

Luminsoity Eyes is no such thing. Our formulation has been on the market as of July of LAST year. Ths patent this individual is speaking of, was NOT even FILED until August. We have been conduction research on IRIS DEPIGEMTATION since 2008.We have documented animal AND human test studies. We have not gone thru the FDA due to the preparation of our product. It is simply unnecessary and as you may or may not know, VISINE is NOT even FDA approved. Therefore, if you do not remove this fraudulent information, WE WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION. Thank you for your timely reply

Also, in order to defend our formulation, we have contacted the FDA ourselves JUST to clear our name. Thank you

Also, As for FDA approval on a phytomedicinal products:

FDA Regulations: An Update

As a result of the passage of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHE) in 1994, herbs and phytomedicinals can be sold in this country as "dietary supplements" provided that no therapeutic or health claims appear on the label. In addition, a statement must appear on the label noting that the product has not been evaluated by the FDA and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Most herbal remedies sold as dietary supplements are placed in Category II or III by FDA panels on OTC drugs. This means that the FDA has not received sufficient data to allow the remedies to be classified as Category I: safe and effective drugs.

Our first website was very elementary. We need a larger, more efficient website that will hold more information and client photos. That is why we are transitioning to a new one. If you wish to email us in regards to the product with any and all questions you may have, please feel free to do so.

I was outraged by the scam alert about Luminosity. I can vouch for the safety and effectiveness of this product. If your eyes are super dark, it'll take longer to see results than if you have a mid range brown iris, but the drops do work: my irises were almost black but now they're decidedly brown. You need to be patient, consistent & follow the directions.

Both Bright Ocular & New Colour Iris involve inserting a coloured implant over the iris. The iris, beneath the implant, remains its original colour. The natural iris contracts to control the amount of light that can enter through the pupil. The pupil hole in the synthetic iris always remains the same size despite different lighting conditions! When you get up close,in bright lighting, you can see the person's real pupil and their real eye colour through the pupil hole in the implant just like with a coloured contact lens.

There have been dissatisfied NCI patients with fake-looking robot eyes and secondary Glaucoma who've uploaded videos to You Tube. They spent close to 10 thousand USD for a 15 minute per eye ambulatory procedure involving implant that costs next to nothing to produce. The tv show The Doctors discussed the procedure and strongly cautioned against getting it done.

'Scam Alert' claims that Luminosity has violated someone else's patent 'in order to scam people'. That is a serious allegation, considering that they posted no evidence to support their statement. Are they claiming that the product does not progressively depigment the iris? That the product does work BUT that there's been a patent violation?Anyone can report anyone else to the FDA, FBI, child protective services or the police. Until an investigation confirms the legitimacy of a claim against a company or individual, there's no proof that the accused is running a scam. Sometimes, such 'reports' are submitted by malingering competitors anxious because their over-priced & unsafe product is about to be rendered obsolete.

Artificial iris with a fixed opening are
nothing new in the opahamalic world and very
effective also used in the United states for
Aniridia.
Yes they have fixed openings but doctors
create a size that does not allow
natural eye color to show. Remember this
size can be altered by manuafacuring
companies. Doctors used a fixed size to make sure
the size is sufficient for light to enter and
not changing visual acuity.
No proof of patients real brown eye showing
unless photos are days or weeks after surgery
eyes are still restricted abnormally because of medication from surgery. Check out this artificial
iris from the U.S. Its not used for cosmetic reasons as it replaces missing irises not covering
exising irises http://www.youtube.com/user/kjrmdfacs#p/u/10/...

Well for instance their website. The pictures uses on the website are stolen. See the page: Faqs The photo they used, a blue eye, is stolen from a website called: findcontactlenses.c. That building, on their site is photo shopped.
Further lenses placed in anterior chamber will eventually damage the cells in the cornea. Constant use of inflammatory products like prednisone. Thatís what they give you.I bet the doctor is not a true one.(Hippocratic oat)
I went to Panama and me myself and others that day all experienced severe problems afterwards. Me i had within one year 2 Baerveldt drains placed due to eye pressure and 2 new corneas. I m broke due to medial and surgerys.37.ooousd so far and nearly blind.
Its just not possible anterior chamber lenses. Yes placing is quiet easy even for a med student but wearing them not! Where is that pseudo actor now? That shows on you tube Not seen him recently. He was in the believe it worked on him. Idiot he is now.
Its not sain to proceed and follow youíre deepest wish on this one. Jonas from Germany
No doctor not even a Swiss one would place this in anterior chamber. Not In Europe.Ever!!!
