Hi my name is Donna, I'm 54, I want to relate my Plastic Surgery experience for all interested.

On march 2005 I had a Tummy Tuck (U$ 3,550) and Breast Augmentation (U$ 3,350) procedure done in Brazil with Dr.C, I've heard about his clinic and his work from some friends who've been there for Plastics as well and were very happy with the results.

He did an excellent job, I couldn't be happier, Dr. C is very skilled and I will never regret going to Brazil to have Plastics.

Due to the economy differences between Brazil and North America , Plastic Surgery is very affordable for middle class Americans.

I've did some price research in US before and then I realized that comming to Brazil for Plastics is less expensive, even with the added expense of a plane ticket, hotel and food, the quality of medical care is excellent.

If you need more info I'll be glad to answer all your questions about my experience.

hugs,

Donna M.

YTF site sold out

AOL

consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com
The above site is part of the "network" of the new corporate entity owning the YTF site. The website is found at the bottom of an e-mail that you get from lookmybest.com (LOGO found on this site owned by new entity controlling the YTF site) after you fill in the little form to find a doctor in your area.
If you go to that site, you will find 2 top advertisers:
Michael Sachs under "eye surgery" and Life Style lift under "plastic surgery"
Sachs has more law suits against him than any NYC doc and life style lift is something people are best warned about than promoted.
Talk about a "charade". These are some of their 'cloaked' sponsors. Talk about selling a site. She sold her readers down the river.

Corporate Take Over of the YTF boards

The Yes They re fake message boards have been SOLD OUT. They CLOAK the sponsors in a net work of subterfuge. lookmybest.com owned by mychoicemedical.com that now control the site operate a SLEW of financing websites. When you fill out the form to find a doctor, you get back an e-mail and on the bottom of the lookmybest.com one, you will see consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com which is the CLOAKED domain name on the lookmybest.com "fill this out" form. If you then go to that domain name you find that the new YTF site has cloaked sponsors such as Michael Evan Sachs and LifeStyle Lift.

They HIDE all this from their readers. That's why the stuff is cloaked under subterfuge of a 'network' of interconnected domains.

So, it was once a board where readers would get a "heads up" on some of the dangerous docs or questionable marketing practices. But now those types of docs have vested interest in what is said there.

I've actually tried to post that on their board but they want to HOODWINK readers into thinking "nothing has changed"

They also CLOAK who the doctors are on their site.
No longer can you use the site to see which docs have listings there. For example if you plug in CA to look for doctors, they DON'T give you their names just listed as "Plastic Surger Center" and they are only selected BECAUSE they are tied into the new corporate entity that manages the finance centers. This totally REMOVES the options of a patient finding a name and then asking on the board if people had experience with that doc. They CLOAK thier sponsors.

With Michael Sachs who has over 30 law suits and a death under his belt who's in the "network" of advertisers for the other domain connected with the entity owning YTF, it's no wonder they don't list them.

I feel bad for the readers who don't know any better who have been sold down the river in the sell out.

If you 'must' finance:

The only financing company that I know of that's forthright as disclosing to you how they do it and who their docs are is CareCredit.com . But still, it's rare to find the "creme of the crop" types docs on there. Simply because they can get patients who will pay in full.

For example, you can FIND OUT who the docs are and with the name, do your "due diligence" in putting a query out on a message board asking patients for feedback or you could google him/her for more research.

Be Careful

Be careful of sites that prompt you to inquire about financing by clicking on their site and then clicking on the procedure along with the state you are looking for financing. They RARELY actually send you back a list of docs involved with their program. What you get back is an e-mail prompting you to "call me now at this 800 # to talk about your financing or your free consult".

If you then ask a specific question to the 'person' who e-mailed you as to who the docs are, you then get an e mail like this:'Maybe you called and I was busy helping others. Call me now to talk to me one of my associates about financing'. You could try to ask your specific question again, but all you would get is another BOILER PLATE message prompting you to "Call me soon"

You could call them BUT they are NOT going to give you the names of the doctors they are promoting. So, FAT CHANCE you could take one of the names and do some "due diligence" researching the doc before you even set up a consult. Personally, I would be very SELECTIVE of the docs I set up consults with. But then again I'm an 'in the know' PS consultant as to who is who. Most patients would not know anybetter.

What happens is they WON'T give you the name of the doc and you WON'T be able to do your "due diligence" in research the doc.

Here's how they operate:

They prompt you to set up a consultation. You need to put about $500 down to do that. The consult is "free" IF you decide to go forward with it and book the surgery. IF you don't, you get about $450 back where the $50 (ok--so it's $49.99) is 'captured' for the 'free' consult because you don't book. You only find out the name of the doc AFTER they book you and have your money for the retainer.

Effectively THEY CHOOSE the doctor for you and you don't know whom they selected for you until you are booked for the consultation.

Bargain hunting has NEVER been the 'way to go' when selecting plastic surgeons. Yet a lot of these finance companies draw you in to 'cut rate' prices for plastic surgery. Personally, I don't know of any bargains in PS other than being a good patient of a doc and getting a price break here and there. This is not offered to imply that just because the guy is expensive he's therefore 'great'. That's not the case either. It's just when your KEY OBJECTIVE is to search for a 'bargain'(and MANY patients have that given the recent popularity of PS) a whole new 'market' opens up for that and IN COME THE SHARKS capitalizing on it in the form of some of these financing company's operating as I have described.

The examples of "how they operate" came from clicking onto the sites with banners or logos on the YTF site. The entities that own those banners and different network of names connected to them ALSO now own the YTF site. Same ones that have Michael Evan Sachs and LifeStyle Lift as KEY advertisers.

The ONLY thing that would not make you suspicious of all this stuff is the fact the site garnered "good will" or 'trust' BEFORE the sell out.

Don't be fooled though. NONE of the stuff that earned them the trust before the sell out holds anymore.

When the corporate medical entity; mychoicemedical.com bought the site they bought the "good will" that came with it as it had a pretty cutting edge information provider there. One of the key reasons it was popular was that one of the key info providers posting there was incredibly knowledgeable and well sought out. Same one they banned after the take over. It's NOW a "conflict of interests" for their readers to know who's behind the new site and what their interests really are. The first thing they ban is any content trying to tell posters how the new board really operates and who now has vested interest in it. If people knew that, they would not trust it anymore. Except of course the patients who know nothing about key (but CLOAKED) advertisers there like Michael Evan Sachs

Apparently a poster telling readers things like; how many law suits Sachs had against him and giving links to the media articles where a death took place under his hands or telling patients they really should look at one year post op pics when evaluating face lifts (Life style lifts markets with ONE DAY post op when the swelling looks good and before the bruises start) is now a 'threat' to their bottom line given the fact that both Sachs and LSL are found as top advertisers in their "network".

Even more posters were BANNED from there when they posted how they found who their hidden sponsors were.(They don't want their readers knowing).

The rep on YTF for the corporate entity; mychoicemedical.com that owns YTF deleted a link to a blog exposing Sachs and LSL being entwined in thier network and DENIED association with Sachs. He is a TOP advertiser on a website mychoicemedical OWNS;"consultationservice sforplasticsurgery.."
I went to the YTF website, clicked on the logo for "lookmybest.." on there. Filled out the form to find a doc in my area and got back the following on the bottom of the e-mail I got back:
"You received this email because you requested additional information on cosmetic procedures from lookmybest.com . If you no longer wish to receive messages from us, please click here:
http://remove.consultationservicesforplastics... ;
Got the same docs you listed; Sachs and LSL when I plugged in the domain name and clicked onto "eye surgery" and "plastic surgery"
I also saw the YTF site made a statement to the effect Sachs is not part of their management marketing program after she deleted a post linking to a BLOG discussing it.
However, she failed to explain WHY he was found as a top advertiser on a domain name that 'captures' your e-mail address when you inquire to " lookmybest.com " owned by the entity that owns YTF.
In FACT, mychoicemedical.com DOES own the domain name; consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com and it is TRUE that Sachs and LSL are top advertisers
Here is who owns that domain name:

You are only showing people how crazy you are by insisiting on posting this crap. OMG My Choice Medical is NOT lookyourbest. If you had half a brain you would go to the doctors that My Choice Medical has listed on their forum (NOT SOMEONE ELSES WEBSITE) and you would see that Michail Sachs address is NOT one of the doctors that My Choice Medical sends their clients to. Get a grip woman> Hmmm I wonder if people would be interested in your medical condition...maybe I should publicize that. Then they would know how much of a kook you really are.As for the cloaking...for Gods sake...there is nothing secretive about the doctors..and YOU do NOT have to pay to find a doctor...they don't pick the doctor for you..you can chose from the doctors they have in the area...I wonder if this webboard realizes that they are letting you get away with posting something that could be grounds for a law suit.

YTF Take over

Parent company of entity that took over YTF SUED for CONSUMER FRAUD
DES MOINES. Attorney General Tom Miller has filed a consumer fraud lawsuit in Polk County District Court against Vertrue, Inc., which sells a variety of buyers-club membership programs across the U.S. and Canada. The company would be known to most consumers as MemberWorks or MWI.
Miller said: "The suit concerns a marketing scheme in which consumers' credit cards and bank accounts are charged for memberships in so-called discount buying programs - even though many consumers don't know they are members, are not aware that they are being charged yearly or monthly membership fees, and make no use whatsoever of the so-called membership benefits."........ see link:

VERTRUE is the PARENT COMPANY of " mychoicemedical.com ", the corporate entity I refer to that 'bought out' the YTF facial plastic surgery message boards.

The domain name holder of " lookingyourbest.com " has NOTHING to do NO ASSOCIATION with the domain name; " lookmybest.com " prominently displayed on YTF site owned by " mychoicemedical.com "
However if mychoicemedical.com also owns " lookyourbest.com ' in addition to " lookmybest.com ", I call into QUESTION why those domain name selections which are CONFUSING. Also the domain name of " lookingyourbest.com " has a GOOD REP and I can't see how they would be too happy with your corporate entity taking out domain names so similar.
By the way, the PARENT COMPANY of the entity; mychoicemedical.com that owns YTF is called: VERTRUE.
VERTRUE the parent company of the entity that you are a mouthpiece for is being sued by the Attorney General in Iowa for CONSUMER FRAUD.

With regard to Michael Sachs; he is PROMINENTLY listed as an ADVERTISER on a domain name called:
" consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com "

That domain name is also owned by " mychoicemedical.com ".

Someone clicking on your logo on YTF (the " lookmybest.com " LOGO) and filling out the 'find a doctor' form will find that domain name in the kick back e-mail they get from filling out the form on " lookmybest.com "

I have NO IDEA WHO your entity has on their doctor roster as the names are CLOAKED from view on the YTF website. However, I did see Sachs as a prominent advertiser on a domain name that the entity that owns YTF also owns.

With regard to any "medical condition" I may or not have, any access to that on your part as a moderator for YTF would constitute a violation of privacy. If it were found that you garnered info on me via 'reps' of other medical entities and this 'rep' were found to be a wife of a doctor, whether or not the info were true or false, you would also have to answer to them for disclosing it.

With regard to their "picking a doctor for you"; I don't contend that they "pick the doctor for you".
My contention is that the patient does not SEE the doctor ROSTER on your site. The NAMES of the doctors participating in the finance plan are NOT visible or listed.

I also contend that selection of doctor is LIMITED to the UN NAMED doctors who participate in the plan. The patient ONLY gets the name of a doctor within the plan to select AFTER they have committed to take part in the financing program or the "free consult" program. That is to say, I can't call one of your financing companies and ASK; "who is on your roster?"

If you go to the Doctors in My Choice Medical from the forum YOU will see their addresses. Michael Sachs address is NOT listed, which means they do not send you to him (Why don't you go to the Doctorsayyes link and ask for yourself a few of us have). YOU found his name attached to a SEARCH ENGINE that you can find on Yahoo/Google. For some reason you just don't get that because you are so hell bent on discrediting this corporation. Michael Evan Sachs AND Life Style Lift are found as a PROMINENT ADVERTISERS on consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com

Consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com is owned by mychoicemedical.com

Consultationservicesforplasticsurgery.com is the address one gets on an e-mail after they fill in the 'find a doctor' form on lookmybest.com . It is the address one has to write to if they wish to be removed from the mailing list of lookmybest.com

The parent company of mychoicemedical.com is VERTRUE. VERTRUE is now being SUED for CONSUMER FRAUD by the Attorney General in Iowa.

THOSE ARE THE FACTS

mychoicemedical.com is the new owner of the YTF facial surgery board UNLESS you, BAILEY were LIEING when you said they were the new owner.

I know the difference about owning a trademark and owning a message board. Marianne, is no longer the OWNER of the BOARD.

So, Bailey if you were lieing about mychoicemedical.com being the new owner,(I'm talking about being the owner of the BOARD not the owner of the TRADEMARK; "YTF"!) the blood is on your hands for that.
