I would like to share my experience with all of you. I did Rinoplasty, Lipo and Breast Implant in Bogota-Colombia in a Clinic Call CORPO PERFEITO , I was surprised how good their service is and how unique are there treatment with International patients, I felt like home and also the results are very good. I definetelly reccommend. Also the price is not even close to what I would pay here in the USA.

I went to Maceio, Alagoas Brasil and had liposculpture done on my back inner and outer theighs, and also had a "brasillian butt lift" in January 2007. Extremely happy with my results. I was a little worried at first because I did not see a difference right away. Now 4 months later the results are amazing. I will be going back on May 29, 2007 for tooth whitening, lasic and visit family (inlaws). Then in July I will go back and have surgery again for breast implants/lift and a tummy tuck (must be able to stay in Brasil for at least 15 days for tummy tuck 30 days for breast implants, liposculpture 3-5 days If any doctor tells you different ... RUN) Brazil is the capital in the world for plastics. You must find a great and dependable doctor I know one if anyone wants information I will be happy to tell you who I and 9 of my inlaws go too. Follow up is a MUST in my opinion. It is easy for me to go there because my husband from brazil and I have alot of family there to help me recover and help with my children. When going to brasil enjoy the beaches, they have some of the best beaches in the world. One beach I went to in Japathenga (spelling) feels as though you are in a very warm bath. baja sol migeul (spelling) cleanest/clearest/nicest (is nicest a word) in my opinion. Good luck to all!

Iam not happy with Plenitas at all. Ive been there and i know about them. On the other hand, Dr. Brosto stop working for them due to ethical differences. I just got an email from his assitant with that information. I had surgery with Brosto but Plenitas kept my deposit, they charged me for a procedure i did not asked and they are so MONEY ORIENTED. Iam thinking of coming back but this time, i will just go directly to Dr. Brosto.

Here is brosto´s website

I traveled to Argentina and had Liposuction in 3 areas. Not only the price was seriously CHEAP, but very nice country. The place I went is called MAGNIMA. Very professional Surgeon. Their patient care is just great. Highly recommended. I´m glad I could remove all that fat in my body without spending my entire savings!

My gosh people, why all the personal attacks? After all, this isn't craigslist! If you are interested in cosmetic surgery, you may want to consider going abroad. Two advantages:
1. More for your money by highly skilled surgeons.
2. For the price of only the procedure in the USA, you can get airfare, surgery, hotel, food and care for 10-14 days.

Hi all -

While it is possible to have access to the same quality plastic surgery procedures as in the USA but at savings reaching 70%(example: tummy tuck + complete body lipo around us $5995, including Food and Hotel), there are a few key mistakes to avoid when planning a surgery abroad.

Folks: a plastic surgery abroad is not for everyone and is a serious undertaking. It is not really a vacation...

I have been working for many years as lead patient care manager for a big medical tourism company organizing plastic surgery in argentina ... and have dealt with hundreds of patients. I wish to inform and caution readers of this forum on the key mistakes to avoid (i have seen patients make many mistakes when planning their plastic surgery in argentina)

on top of my list:

1- what should you do to ensure your safety on medical trips?
2- what are the key mistakes to avoid when having a surgery abroad?
3 - what happens really when you have a surgery abroad?
4 - what are the most critical questions you must ask your surgeon before you
even leave your country to ensure an orderly process?
5 - what general questions must you ask in the pre-operative phase?
6 - how can you avoid surgeon communication mistakes especially when not
having a face to face consultation until you fly to your destination?

As I said, I worked with hundreds of different patients and saw mistakes as patients planned their plastic surgery in argentina .... I just wish to share them here.

Before I invest a lot of my time in this, is anyone here interested in initiating a discussion and debating on these topics?

I believe that this would be informative to all and help the community make wiser decisions…

best -

I just came from having a facelift in Argentina and I had a great experience. The results are fantastic. My doctor is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at one of the main hospitals in Buenos Aires. The surgery wasn't cheap (according to Argentinean standards) but of course, he knew I was coming from the US and could afford it. In any case, I look 10 years younger and I can't be happier. If any one is interested, I have before and after pictures and can give you the information about my doctor.
