I have watch both my parents die of prolonged terminal illnesses. Neither one living beyond a year of diagnosis. I think if I were diagnosed with a terminal illness I would choose just to live as normally as possible, at home, and let God have his way with me, with pain meds, of course, sit in the sun with my daughter holding my hand as I breathe my last breath.
