pain during treatment

San Rafael, CA

#1 Mar 31, 2012
I have been seeing an osteopath for a couple of months. I had occassional knee pain and as a result of the treatment I have experience daily shoulder/ thigh and back pain. The osteopath keeps reassuring me that this is a normal part of treatment and that it is the body's response to a new spinal alignment. I am very worried because I see almost no improvement. Is this amount of daily pain during treatment normal?
