In the midst of all the bad news we hear about Fosamax and other bisphosphonates, it's comforting to know optimistic discoveries like this. Hopefully, this finding will be supported with other researches so that it can finally be applied in the medical field.

While it is good to see that some of these osteoporosis drugs have a positive side effects one cannot overlook that they still cause several adverse side effects. These side effects have been the main topic in many Fosamax lawsuits.

It is interesting to know that Fosamax may help in the prevention of breast cancer but is also skewered because of its side-effects that allegedly caused some death. It is also known to cause an infection in the jawbone of some patient, causing disfigurement and death. You may refer at for more information.
