Thank God!! More lives will be saved with this clinic CLOSED. All it took was under-trained and unlicensed staff, suboptimal care, Medicare fraud, and unnecessary deaths to expose this money-grubbing clinic for what it is: a complete sham and embarrassment to the field of oncology. Faith Uckun should be ashamed of himself, preying on people in their greatest time of need and supplying hope when there was none. At least he will never practice medicine again...if that's what you can call what he was doing to begin with.

I was told 6 years ago, I had lung cancer. Thanks to Dr. Uckun and others at the clinic, I am here today, cancer free. It's all about money, sorry to say.

Parker Hughes saved my life. They found the brain tumor the most highly regarded doctors in this state didn't find. The other doctors had all written me off.

They were unlike any other medical center because they were for the patient first and foremost and didn't care if other doctors may have misdiagnosed you and they weren't intimidated by the HMO system, either. they ordered a PET scan they felt was really needed and fought my insurance company for me. I think the real reason they went out of business was that the very tight knit medical community here didn't like Parker Hughes disagreeing with their diagnoses and treatments--it made those health care providers look incompetent and may have resulted in malpractice suits had patients pursued that route.
Ukun (?) may have been flawed--he wasn't a businessman--and he was naive to think the medical community would allow a non-conforming member succeed. His center actually tried to make medical care competitive again in Mpls. by trying to offer patients the best care.

Medicine has traditionally been structured as a hierarchy and the sheep must follow.

Parker Hughes is like non other - wonderful care is their main objective. They save many lives including people coming from Mayo (yes, Mayo in
Rochester) who were given no hope and were just treated like another number there.

I miss the entire staff so very much!

To truthy, your an idiot!!! PH saved so many. Many will fall because the place is closed. I hope to god that you never need somewhere to go. And if you do, god be with you to find somewhere as great as PH was.

I wish Parker Hughes was still there! I miss what I had. I miss the people and the staff. Why did they have to attack Dr. Uckun? So many people were saved when he was there and so many have died since we closed. Anyone who talks bad had no idea what Parker Hughes did for people. Unless you were in the trenches, you don't know and I was in the trenches and fought to the very end!

You just show that ignorance is alive and well. BEFORE you embarrass yourself and anyone reading this, educate yourself.
there was no "fraud" or I never in the life span of parker hughes saw any Untrained or unliscensed staff. He worked at UofM for years prior in research his findings are standard of care now being practiced across the board. HIS WORK WILL ALWAYS CONTINUE TO CHANGE THE WAY THAT MANY CANCERS ARE AND WILL BE TREATED FOR MANY.MANY YEARS TO COME!!! The very he practices medicine is so positive, compassionate, proven he could teach many to better themselves. This whole thing blew up because a seven year old boy and parents came to MN after being told by his regular doctors that there was no hope, and has was told.to go home to die. This little frail boy always holding his heman sword was determined.to fight and simply wanted to live to see christmas. Dr.Ukun did not give false hope and he cared enough to try. I witnessed him many days Dr.Ukun sitting on the floor, holding.the boys hand talking him through the tough days, from reading him stories, or sing a song, sometimes.even taking a nap. I witnessed the tears.in his eyes when the first results.came in that they had slowed his cancer down. Eventually to complete remission, a very meaningful Christmas, and 10 years later leads a normal life cancer free. He was a man who was deeply passionaye and.sincere. when the doctors from the east coast found out he treated this boy cured him when they sent him home to die did the same thing you are doing. It was no longer about the little boy, it was about himself failing a patient, didnt look good to his peers. The problem occured when that east coast doctor, a vey good friend of Mn oncology (who was bent.out of shape for.loss.of.revenue) decided.to file investigation, with guess who Star Tribune. They published a serius of slanderous articles.bashing the clinic. The catch is the head of Mn Oncologys wife was the one writing those articles. Laws were broken the staff harassed at their homes. IT WAS A DEEP.LOSS FOR ALL HUMANITY WHEN THE CLINIC CLOSED, TO MAKE ACCUSATIONS YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THE EAST COAST DOCTOR WHO REFUSED TO HELP TREAT THIS LITTLE BOY, AND WHEN SOMEONE DID AND IT WORKED, THAT DOCTOR USED POLITICS FOR A.PERSONAL VENDETTA. YOU AND ANYONE ELSE WHO DECIDES TO PUBLICIALLY SLAY ANOTHER HUMAN BEING SHOULD DO SO AFTER EDUCATING THEMSELVES. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT ARE ALIVE TODAY BEACUSE OF HIS CARE, AND RESEARCH. BY TH WAY THERE WERE NO DEATHS, ONLY LIFE HOPE, FAITH,AND COMPASSION. YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO SPEAK ON SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF THAT LITTLE BOY WAS YOU CHILD? Would you look him in the face and say what you did here? Of course not! Only a coward, heartless igonarmus devil worshiper would.
