My son is almost 2 years old. in july last year was diagnosed with malignant tumor of brain medulloblastoma ( pathological examination showed medulloblastoma classic type ). After 7 months of getting treatment ( chemotherapy ) tumor started grow again. Treatment was changed and next MR showed that tumor's sill growing. In this case doctors decided to remove it by surgery ( subtotal removing ). Then the 2nd pathological examination showed diffrent view of tumor - medulloblastoma with probably rhabdoid AT/RT cells. Have anybody heard about this kind of diagnosis? My son is treated in Children Health Institute in Warsaw but they have no experience in treating such a strange combination of cells. Please if someone have similar situation, please give me further info about it. Greets

Arnold,
I pray all is well.
It is now a few months later and I am seeing this post for the first time. I am interested in an update and very curious of what cancer center your son received treatment at. My 4 year old son was diagnosed with medulloblastoma last October. He has since received chemo and radiation treatment. After the chemo, he had a very aggressive recurrence. The proton radiation treatment at MD Anderson in Houston proved to turn my son's condition around, but not without several immediate side effects. It has been difficult for him, to say the least.
