It would have been helpful to list the symptoms of Ovarian cancer or perhaps offered a link to a site that discusses the disease in depth.

The problem here is that because this is a WOMEN'S health issue and not as common as other cancers no one is caring about it enough to fund research that could help us find reliable cost effect ways to detect it earlier. You see women are so disrespected that our need to know more about the signs of ovarian cancer was not even thoughr of let aline addressed in this article

Unsure how you and editors lets through an article that does not specifically list the symptoms, although they are referred to multiple times. Maybe you could update?

Symptoms left out of story-I'm assuming they were originally in the story and cut out because of space. Digital edition should publish full stories even if print edition does not.

A graphic that appeared with the story listed the symptoms of ovarian cancer and encouraged women to take the list with them to their doctor.

The symptoms appeared in a graphic with the story, which was not incomplete.
Here you go:
Bloating
Pelvic or abdominal pain
Trouble eating or feeling full quickly
Urinary urgency or frequency
Increased abdominal size
Constipation or diarrhea
Persistent indigestion, gas or nausea
Abnormal vaginal bleeding
Unusual fatigue
Unexplained weight gain or loss
Shortness of breath
Low back pain
Pain during intercourse

You should see your doctor if one or a combination of these symptoms persists for two or three weeks.

Also, this list of symptoms appeared online, with the story, if you read to the end of the story.
