Nutrition used as medicine

Why do we feed bland food with low levels of nutrients to sick people while at hospitals? This is illogical. Why is there a disconnect between nutrition and medicine? Lets change the way we do things. Remember, what you resist persists; especially when you treat the illness with the very thing that causes the illness (Carcinogens). Instead of being anti-cancer/illness try thinking differently and be pro-health.
I would suggest everyone read this information about optimum nutrition by Dr. Nora Gedgaudas: http://www.primalbody-primalmind.com/... Her book cites several studies that contradict the current general understanding by the world population of proper eating habits; due to old dogma perpetuated by the status quo and of criminals in the position of control over what foods and medicines that are allowed to be sold and consumed. Where do you get your chemo drugs and radiology machines from?
Hey, why not put copious amounts of beautiful plants all around the patient's beds while you're at it.

Set aside your ego before reading this:
The Hippocratic oath you probably took states: "I will apply dietetic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice." and "I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody if asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect" I am sorry but when I look around I do not see the effects of this ideology pertaining to cancer treatment. Although I do not accuse you of any intentional wrongdoing. It is not your fault. Blame the doctors and medical scientists from 70 years ago. Is that why they call it the Hippocratic oath? Hypocrisy by definition considering what happens in real life. Powerful toxic man-made chemical compounds and doses of radiation are NOT dietetic measures. Please first do no harm. Treat the root cause not the symptoms.

Prescription drugs kill more people in the US than cocaine and heroin combined. Nobody ever died of Cannabis or Turmeric.
Beware of disinformation from the industries and regulatory bodies involved.
PS: If you know about the placebo effect then why do you not use that technique all the time? When you tell a patient their (low) chances of survival, from treatment, that is causing the opposite nocebo effect.
Thank you for your time.
