Don't judge me, I am not a whore. My ex cheated, but I knew full well the risks of unprotected sex, but we were getting married and condoms hurt me.
Anyway, 6 months after my last sexual encounter, I developed a small bump between my anus and vagina. I forget what thats called. Anyway, i have some hair follicles there, so even though i was freaking out about STDs, I tried to tell myself it was just an ingrown hair. One month goes by and nothing changes. I had my GYN check it, and she said it was normal.
2 weeks later her office calls me back saying my pap was abnormal, and the lab results were positive for HPV. The bump was slightly bigger, but there still was only one. They scheduled me for a colposcopy with a different GYN, who said it was a wart and proscribed me Imiquimod.
After a week, and 3 uses of the cream, the wart has tripled in size, and spread! There are numerous smaller warts near the big one, but now it looks like i may have flat ones on the inside of my labia. My labia on one side looks all prune-like, as if i soaked in the bath for hours or something.
So, here are my questions.
Could the colposcopy exam caused the virus to spread?
Ive looked online for natural remedies and discovered a bunch of success with apple cider vinegar and vitamin E. I was going to try it, but im not sure what is a wart and what isnt. How can i tell? Can i put the ACV over my whole vagina? People said it burns at the wart site, but will it burn tissue that isnt infected with the virus?
Please help. Im afraid my whole vagina may be covered with warts, and two different doctors seem to have made it worse, or misdiagnosed it. Thank you!
