In May of 2008 I had a benign tumor removed from my left kidney. The operation was successful and all is well, except I am still swollen where the incision was made.

Hi, a recent ultrasound found a septated cyst in my solitary kidney. The septation diameters are 9mm and 10mm. From what i can tell, according to the bosniak classification, anything with a septation over 1mm is suspicious. Is my interpretation wrong? Doctor said it's not a threat and can be monitored 6-12monthly and doesn't need to be removed.
