Mine would be (gasp!) a massage that includes the FULL body. If you're only doing 90% of the body because you think the other 10% is naughty, don't call it a full body massage.

Yes, but it would be equally inappropriate to ask an to rub your back, shoulders, or calves, or to ask a massage therapist to remove your cataracts. A good eye exam is complete and not partial. The same is true of a good massage.

What, exactly, did you find disrespectful in my posts? I understand your viewpoint, and I don't think you should do anything you don't want to do. I'm not asking you for anything. Live and let live.

reality LMT, again, I don't understand why you care what others do. "I am ashamed for you" is one hell of a judgement. What gives you the right to stand in judgement of me or anyone else. There is so much shame and confusion in our culture over sexuality and body image already--do we really need more from you? I don't think so. You have your limits and your boundaries in your practice; good for you. Don't cross them.
You seem to imply that "sexual" and "therapeutic" are two different things that never could possibly co-exist. Maybe they can't in your world but that doesn't mean it's the only way to see things or do things. Unless you're some kind of fascist or control freak. Different people see things differently, do things differently. That's what makes life interesting. I'm sure glad we're not all the same.
I promise you I will not impose my beliefs on you. Can't you show me the same respect?
You can do what ever you want you just can't call it massage therapy.
There are laws and regulations in place that you must follow to be a therapist, you will never see prostitution as an accepted modality in massage therapy.

Hillary, you're really not addressing the question. The supreme court of Canada has ruled that a full body massage can include the genitalia. Here's a news flash: it's still a massage; that's what's happening. I have not said that everyone must do this. All I've said is that it is simply wrong to tell others not to offer it.

I've traveled pretty much all over the world and I'll tell you that the U.S.A. is probably the most, or at least one of the most repressed societies in regard to sexuality.

I have been told on this board to take it to a hooker, etc. etc. Why is it that a good massage cannot be inclusive of the entire body? I'm not suggesting that anyone ignore their own personal boundaries, only that you don't tell me where my boundaries should be.

Yes, there are laws against touching certain areas in 48 states. But really, is it asking too much to want a dialog on the subject without being subjected to insults and name calling? Granted, there are some pig men on this board and in life, but I think I've asked reasonable questions and given reasonable opinions. I'd like to be shown the same respect.

Here's the difference between your opinion and our opinion: You have nothing to lose by turning Massage Therapy into pay-for-sex. It's not your profession, you didn't invest your time and money into getting your license and setting up your practice, and you don't have to worry about the negative image of massage (caused by the jack shacks) that chases away potential clients.

Sorry, you're still not getting it. I don't want to turn anything into anything. I just want you and every other "moral" crusader to stay out of my business. I have said more than once (and you seem to refuse to acknowledge this) that I'm not asking YOU to do anything. You've set your boundaries and you've let us know what they are. What you're doing that I can't tolerate is you're trying to set MY boundaries. Sorry, but that's my job, not yours.

The "jack shacks" as you call them aren't going to go away no matter how much windmill tilting you do. You've set up your practice with your boundaries and your ethics and that is great. You're clear about what you do. Consequently you have nothing to be "ashamed" about. Attempting to "shame" me is not going to make you feel any better about yourself and your work.

The "negative image of massage" might have more to do with the general negative image of sexuality in American culture, such as it is. It's a sad state of affairs, but trying to take away personal choice isn't the way to go about changing things, in my opinion.

Gee, it's people like you that they're upset about, I think, and I can surely understand why. Can't you show just a little respect for others? Attitudes and comments like yours are a big reason there's no dialog happening here and frankly that pisses me off. Try to be nice, would ya?

Blah blah blah...

There was this one time I went to an Asian massage place and the lady took me to the room and tole me to undress. She left. I undressed but still standing with my thing hard waiting for her to come in and see me hard. She came in and was a little shocked. She did not knock. It was like her fault for not knocking.
I told her is was ok. I asked for an undrapped massage. She said sure. I told her that I tip well. At the end, she wacked me off with oil and her hand. I was allowed to touch her boobs.

All in a good days work!!

Gee, please come up with some more credible stories, yours are old, stale and obviously not real.

FYI, women are not visual like men, seeing your erect penis is not a way to woo a woman.

Gee's story is credible, because the same happened to me. I went to an Asian massage parlor where I was undraped. After I rolled onto my back, I was fully engorged, and the therapist would massage my thighs and "accidentally" bump my penis with the back of her hand. She would say "sorry" every time, but continued to do so to see my reaction. She became more and more aggressive until she took my penis in her hand and gave me a manual release. Bellfly can put her fingers in her ears and pretend this doesn't happen, but it does every day. I agree with blah that good massages involve the ENTIRE body and help relieve ALL stress and built-up tension, whether it be due to muscle tightness or an overabundance of semen.
