Be aware that the young women working in those Asian massage joints are likely not working there of their own free will. Many are here illegally, and are forced into what is effectively prostitution with threats of deportation, or worse. Prostitution is rarely a victimless crime.

This opinion is based on your vast knowledge of the subject? Have you traveled abroad to Germany or Holland? Been to a legal brothel in Nevada? Used or know an Escort?

A lot of Americans seem to have strange views about human sexuality. Hence the topic...

From what you write, I think we are in agreement. Thanks.

I drape the front but not full body and depending upon the client and my comfort level at the time, the backside is not always draped especially when working glutes.

A few medical referrals order work of the groins and pelvic floor where it is not alway easy to keep the boys fully covered all the time. But as you suggest, its just another day at work, nothing to get excited about. I do require clients to shift their 'junk' themselves when required to provide unimpeded access for me, often much to their dissappointment.

I have noticed there are trigger spots on males which seem to increase the frequency of erections. I save those areas for last so any potential for embarrassment is spared as much as possible.

On the other hand, there are those few clients who seem almost perpetually erect no matter what I do or don't do. As long as they do not make overt gestures or comments, I can work around the subject being careful to avoid any close contact so that the wrong signal is not sent.

But lets be real. Guys act in ways that are often in keeping with guys genetics. Professional settings and therapists careful demeanor do not always seem to change that fact. So, I am careful to practice empathy but not sympathy with them. Effective communication with them is an important key to being successful that, at least that seems to work well for me.

Great Response. Many of my clients when getting a light massage get an erection yes they are draped. Occaisonally one will pop out from under the drape and I will see it. The client is usually embarassed and I really do not care and it does not bother me. Reading many of the posts on this site it appears that the older more narrow minded LMTs have a problem with a cllent getting an erection. Maybe they should only have female cleints. Reading the posts on this site it appears the younger LMTs really do not care. If you are client and get an erection do not be concerened most of us LMTs have seen them before. Be respectfull and remember you are here for a therapeutic massage. If your female LMT has a problem with a sight of erection go to a different LMT who does not have a problem with seeing an erection.

These places aim to get people aroused to the point of orgasm so they keep returning and burn a bigger whole in your pocket. It's a fools paradise. I admit in years in the past that I indulged the hobby. As a Christian I know I sinned, and I now ask The Lord to save me from that sin. You too can ask for forgiveness and strength. It's a sin if you objectify the person who massages you, allow yourself to become ensnared in this trap of addiction and misery and try to deny anything wrong happened or if it full on fornication. If you are married, what would your wife say? Would Jesus walked into a place like this? No he would not

I went to this Asian massage place where they offer a table shower and enjoyed it very much. Once escorted to the room to disrobe, the MT said take off you clothes and put this towel on. She was there watching me undress. I did not mind at all. We walked to the shower area and I lied down inh the nude. She washed me all over. Even my thing was washed. God it felt good. She rinsed me off and then I stood up so she can dry me off. She bent down to dry my legs as my thing was sticking up and out. I brushed it against her face a few times and she tried to lick it. We then went back to the room and she rubbed me down. She then asked if I wanted other places masseged. I said sure. She used oil on it and then I exploded. She really knew how to work it. She cleaned me up and I then went home. Just another day.

I am a therapist, and have seen many erections. I allow draped or un-draped massage according to my client's preference. I ask them at the beginning of the massage which they prefer.
It happens whether draped or un-draped, but it seems to happen more with the un-draped individuals. I have seen large, bobbing erections to a point that it's just about in my face, and some that even end up oozing a bit. I consider it all very, very normal.

I'm not in the habit of getting massaged but I do remember the only one I received, getting an erection. I felt bad about it because I was not sexually attracted to her. It was embarrassing to say the least. I'm watching a TV sitcom right now where this is an issue between two people who are neighbors and one offered the other a massage to help with a neck problem.
I think masseuse's should inform their clients that this might happen so they'll be no aha moments during the session. I wished someone had told me.

You guys spend too much time thinking about your thing. Hard to believe us women LMT have seen many penises before. Many of my male clients also get an erection during a massage. Some go down and some stay up during the whole massage. I am always amazed when they stay up during the whole massage. No it does not turn me on, I am just amazed. Just dont ask me to touch it. You can enjoy your massage and respect your therapist.

Well Sir, The reason that MOST therapist do not advise you about the possability of getting an erection during a massage is that they believe that you already know your body and how it will react to intimate touching during the massage.

Nothing to worry about or be ashamed of .. it is a biological reaction that most males have to touch in certain places ... a professional therapist will be aware and expect it ...

Hmmm, I have read several of these...I have stayed away from getting a massage for this exact reason. I am almost certain I would get an erection. My body continuously aches from training hard. What to do? This may sound like a really dumb question, but the therapist can't share client info if this happens, can they?

A legit massage therapist will NOT discuss your treatment with anyone else including your spouse ...
We all expect most males to get erections ... that is not debated ...
Most therapist will totally ignore the erections and work around it ... go get your massage and ENJOY it !!

I am in shock right now and need some advice please. All massages were 1 hour except the first one was 75 minutes. I think it was the third massage when I went to the chiropractor and after he cracked me really good I went back for a 30 minute massage for the neck and upper back. We had talked about which to do first during the first couple of massages, chiro or massage. I'm male and I went to a female LMT at the beginning of April because of neck and upper back problems; I just took my shirt off for this massage. I've had problems with my right outer/top thigh for years and asked her if she would be comfortable working on that area next time; she said yes she would. Next massage I confirmed her being ok with my right leg and I undressed and kept my underwear on. She worked the leg at the end of the massage and I fought hard, and was able to not get an erection. Our next massage, I again asked if she was ok with my leg, she said yes, but being naked would be better. OK, I stripped naked and things went well, no erection. I searched massage boards about the erection issue and decided it was no big deal and after talking to a couple of RMT friends of mine in TX about what I could do to feel more comfortable it was suggested I bring and cover myself with a small towel. I did this and she never had time for the leg area anymore, which was no big deal because my upper back and neck needed the attention. The last two massages when she asked what we were going to work on, I said the neck and back area and if there was time left then the right leg. I stripped naked and covered my privates with a towel I brought with me.
Two weeks ago she mentioned that she was surprised there wasn't quicker improvement in my condition; I said there had been and that my plan of action was that I would take mineral supplements my chiropractor recommended and get two 1 hour massages for 2 weeks and if I was still having problems, then I would go see an MD, because it would obviously be more than just a soft tissue problem. I had two massages last week and one massage yesterday. The massage started late because the owner was late opening the salon, so when the LMT said she would let the receptionist handle my payment I thought nothing of it, because the LMT had her regular salon to be at in 10 or 15 minutes.
I paid for the massage and figured I’d just double the tip on my next massage on Friday. Massages were $50 for the hour and I gave a $10 tip (I hope that was sufficient). This morning the LMT called me and said she was cancelling my future massages and would not work on me anymore, because of some red flags she noticed; I started bringing a towel and I moaned a few times during the last couple of sessions (when she was working on my back and hit a spot that hurt so good I moaned/grunted and said that’s the spot). She said she was uncomfortable and struggling with working on men and felt it would be better if she didn’t work on me anymore. I was and am in shock! I apologized for any misunderstandings and told her I understood and then I wished her the best of success in her career, because she is very good. She then hung up the phone. She was very nervous and her voice was shaking when she was talking to me.

To continue my previous post:
I want to know if it would be appropriate for me to give her the tip she didn't get because I planned on giving it to her at my next appointment. I want to write her a note that says I am sorry for any miscontuings/understandings and that if and when she becomes comfortable working on men would she let me know. Also, I'd like to meet with her at a Starbucks or public place sometime to maybe help me understand what makes her uncomfortable about working on men. I would give the note to the receptionist on a day when the LMT is not working so there would be no awkwardness.
In the future when going to a massage therapist, will it be appropriate for me to discuss the topic of her comfort level working on men and let her know that I prefer to cover my privates with my own towel and there is no sexual interest or thoughts intended or implied?
I was always draped with the LMT's sheet, the towel was extra draping for me. I never touched her or said anything suggestive, as a matter of fact I talked about mundane things after she said it didn't matter to her if I talked or not.

At this stage of the game; I'd suggest that you FORGET this massage therapist .. Let it go and find yourself a good MALE therapist so this kind of situation does NOT happen again ....

I am a young certified female therapist and I provide all my clients draping choices as is required. Some of my clients choose being undraped. Most of my clients that are draped or undraped do get erections during sometime in the session. Like Mary it is amazing that some of my male clienst will stay erect for the entire hour session. It does make my job more interesting. No guys I do not offer any other special services or happy endings just a nice relaxing massage with a little freedom.
