This article just put the biggest smile on my face. I think this is an excellent idea for the dog and for the people. A dog is loyal, friendly, loving, whereas a lot of people aren't. A dog can bring these elderly people, or those just in rehab a great deal of happiness, and even give them a much needed sense of being needed. I'm all for this in all nursing facilities. :)

Dogs are the best. I want to go to dog heaven when I die.

Don't breed or buy while animals in shelters die.

Best story of the week! Reinforces the saying, "the more I get to know people, the more I like my dog"!!!
