remember reporters: who what where when.

even if you get all that you should give more detail.

the reporter gets a c+ for effort and an f for content.

It says that for me too and I'm in Arcata. It's because the cheap-@$$ ISPs around here don't give out properly-aggregated IP addresses. Don't worry, it's un-fixable.

FYI, Heart Failure doesn't necessarily mean death. Nearly 5 million Americans live with heart failure. Check out this website:

As usual the T-S keeps people writing about the lack of good reporting. Not giving all the facts.
Rather than go into a long note with possible solutions I'll ask this question:
Mr Editor do you care if people/readers are complaining about your paper?
If so, do something about it, you're the boss.
If not, start looking for another job, because the handwriting is on the wall.
Good papers will last longer than poorly managed ones.
If you have an explanation that will tell us why more facts are not given at the outset, then please tell us why.

They already reported that he died but without identifying him. Now they have identified him.
