FDA Approves Aegerion's Cholesterol Drug Juxtapid
Aegerion Pharmaceuticals announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved use of Juxtapid pills as an accompaniment to a low-fat diet and other lipid-lowering treatments.

Apparently Juxtapid has only been tested in those who have HoFH (according to http://www.rxwiki.com/news-release/juxtapid-r... ). Is there any further research being conducted along these lines? Surely there are others who could benefit from lowering bad cholesterol.
