Vaccines do not cause autism. There isn't a shred of credible evidence supporting that hypothesis.Make money off vaccine victims.

Roche, a prominent pharmaceutical company, has teamed up with Seaside Therapeutics, a small company based in Massachusetts, to release drugs for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders and fragile X syndrome, a rare genetic disease with symptoms similar to autism.

Honestly, I won't disagree with you that pharmaceutical companies do not always have the best interest of the public in mind, but I will defend the world of academia. I agree that major companies who fund research often cover up unwanted results. But this is not a simple case of hiding findings. Of the major studies done regarding the correlation between autism and vaccines (which were not funded by pharmaceutical companies), none have found any real link. Which is not surprising if you were actually educated in the medical sciences. |

Kind of like Wakefield? Who was told what to say by attorney's? There will never be a study to satisfy anti vaxxers, so why post any? Many studies have come threw here all on their own and it's simply called garbage.

http://www.nature.com/clpt/journal/v82/n6/ful... There are two scholarly articles. Just to make a point, it took me about 5 seconds to find them. How many support the causal link between autism and vaccines? Zero. |

Show me a PEER-REVIEWED article with no methodological problems that IS NOT from the 1960's and maybe we can have a legitimate debate. |

Let me guess, Canada, you didn't bother reading any of the 2nd link, did you?? You know, that link from the anti vaxxers Whale?? Maybe you missed the part in there that stated " Pertussis vaccination should be given to all children except those with allergic hypersensitivity, a progressive neurologic disorder, or an adverse reaction to a previous pertussis dose." Or "The NCES does not demonstrate that DTP vaccine causes permanent brain damage." Or "It is suggested that these vaccines do not cause infantile spasms but may trigger their onset in those children in whom the disorder is destined to develop." Or "The balance of possible risk against known benefits from pertussis immunisation supports continued use of the vaccine."
You can thank Whale and yourself for finding so many studies supporting evidence for the use of vaccines!! |

So are you trying to tell us the link from Whales, you know, all those studies? They were conducted all over the world. Pharma didn't pay for them all to be conducted pal. We're talking about autism, not vaccine injury. Everyone knows already vaccines do cause some people injury, and that compensation is acknowledging that, just as they have mal practice insurance. Hello. That alone does not give evidence to what you're trying to imply. |

That isn't what the Poling case stated. What it stated was vaccine worsened her pre existing GENETIC disorder, which was inherited from her mother. The child was always ill as well, which is why the mother delayed the vaccines to begin with. The Poling girl was getting catch-up vaccines and the doctor did give her an enormous amount of vaccines for one day, which most kids do not get. That is a case of the doctor should had known better, but no other claim comes close to what happened to the Poling girl. And that's why they won. The disorder she inherited from her mother will affect her all her life, with any minor to major virus she get's.
As for your anything "suggested", "possible" "known benefits", "may" or "does not demonstrate; they were YOUR studies!! So you're not impressed with your own link? |
