I've been saying this to the people in my life for several years now. Definitely not surprised. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of atypical people out there who have flown under the radar for quite a while and never been recognized because they don't fit the conventional checklist points. Medical thinking often seems to cling to comfortably familiar conventional preconceived notions so fiercely and overlong that seems almost inevitable.
