Post-gallbladder surgery - extreme pain focused 3 inches above belly button

I had my gallbladder removed in May 2009 because I supposedly had gallstones causing extreme pain to the SAME EXACT LOCATION as where I am getting the same pain right now! This has happened on multiple occasions without warning and pain medicine only causes it to get worse! I found this out the hard way as I recently had gotten prescribed 5mg oxycodone for a back problem. I took it and it actually caused my stomach to hurt in a way that I can only describe as torture. I never had problems with opiates prior to my gallbladder being removed. I was thinking that it could be spincter of ODDI disfunction as my symptoms are very similar to that, but I really have no idea.
Please, if any gastros know of any ideas as to why this is occurring, I want you to know that I am suffering. I'm 25 years old and this problem has been going on for over 7 years. I have mild hereditary spherocytosis with an enlarged spleen (surgeons tell me it's not large enough to have removed). Both of my brothers and father has had splenectomies; one of my brothers also had his gallbladder removed.
If you have any insight you're willing to offer, my email is armandst (at) gmail (dot) com.
