Have pain in my right lower stomach. Some limited symptoms of IBS, but nothing too bad...only hwen I eat nuts etc. Actually seems like something is in my gut and seems to get worse when I sit for lonmg periods of time.
Benn to doc....doing a loewer GI and CT scan...lots of blood work...Kidney, liver function CBC etc. No results yet.
Any insight?
Greg..I too am having that same exact symptom. My pain is right under my right rib cage and in my back on the right side. It hurts when I sit. When I lay or walk or move I feel great. I had my gallbladder checked and so far no results back but the girl that did the ultrasound said she didn't see stones. My liver, gallbladder and everthing came back normal. I am getting nervous.

I too am having the same right sided, under my rib, constant dull pain. Was diagnosed and treated for diverticulitis 3 months ago. The infection is gone but after 2 CT's, 2 rounds of blood work and x-rays, my doctor believes my lingering pain is neuro-muscular. He put me on a regimin of ibuprofen and heat for two weeks. That hasn't helped. I recently went to the chiropractor. After 3 visits and using ice, not heat, on the area, I have to say it is getting better. Not gone, but noticebly better. He says he thinks I have a tear in my cortisol (sp) cartilidge. I'm hoping he's right and it will be gone with a few more treatments. If not, I'm going to try acupuncture next :)

I also have strange things going on. Started last June. Pain in chest area then pain in stomach, whole body aches, like having the flu feeling, neck pain, anxiety, hair falling out. I have had TONS of tests done, seen every dr imaginable. I did have my gallbladder removed on Dec 21st. And also while he was removing gallbladder he found extensive adhesions on my transverse colon and omentum he had to remove.. I also had the radiation treatment for thyroid disease at the end of Feb. Nothing has helped me. I still feel horrible. My main symptoms are still bloating, pain in stomach, lump on right side underneat rib cage, neck pain, hair falling out, anxiety, chest pain.

I am so tired of not being able to live a normal life anymore.

I have been having random painful sharp pains in the lower right side of my stomach by my hip. It comes and goes every few weeks even months before I get another sharp pain. The pain randomly happens and sometimes gets so bad to where I can't move because it hurts. I've woken up to it hurting like that as well. Does anyone know what could be wrong?!! I'll be going to the doc's for a check up- but any ideas?? Cervical cancer runs through my family, but I don't think that could be it. anyway PLEASE reply! thank you!

Did you check to see if you have a strained or torn Oblique muscle?

It seems really random, and sometimes it's so bad that I can't even move until it goes away. I've been missing school because it can make it hard to breathe. For about 4 months now I have been having a constant pain in my lower right side. It's a stabbing pain that feels like someone is squeezing something in my insides. It never goes away it is sometimes just dull and achy. I also get pains in my pelvic bone. I am in the process of seeing doctors and trying to figure this thing out. I can't take it anymore. Can someone please help me and tell me what this might be please. My email is [email protected]

I have pain in my right shoulder, ankle, wrist through the night I can't sleep. I went to many dooctors and still they said the x-rays, CT, MRI shows nothing. I took many pain killers but still most of them didn't work and also caused me an upset stomach. Oh I am a diabetic.

I have a sharp stabbing pain under my right lower rib and it shoots around to the back of my rib cage. The pain usually gets worse if I walk of a distance. I seldom feel it while sleeping or sitting. The pain starts out like a cramp, but it quickly turns into a sharp, stabbing, irritating sensation. I have done some investigating on symptoms, and it seems to be either liver or gallstone, but all of the regular symptoms are not present, only the pain. Hoping someone has a bit more information about this than I do

I have an ongoing pain in my right side of my body, seems it's in my hip area, and the only thing that seems to remedy the awful pain is a hot bath and some over the counter pain pills. What is causing this pain do you think, I'm 52 and male. Biofreeze doesn't seem to help, it's so frustrating, can you help?
Have you thought about a sciatic nerve inflammation? Does the pain run to your leg sometimes too? You should see a chiropractor about getting your back aligned to release the pressure on the nerve.

I've been having the same problem. When I went to some idiotic doctor, he told me that I have acute gastritis and prescribe some medicine. The pain is still here. It's been about 6 months now... if you find anything out, help me out too?
