Hi, my hypothesis is that economic stress causes oral health problems in adolescents in 3 different countries in the world. I am wondering what statistical methods i should use for this study. Its is cross sectional design.I am also exploring further the impact of tobacco abuse related to socioeconomic stress on oral health in the same three settings Please help me with power calculations and everything.

What is your outcome? Is it continuous or is it categorical? Are you going to meaure poor oral health in a yes no or a measurement. What power do you want 80% is usually sufficient. I need a lot more info to help here.
