Fundação da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, opened an announcement for the award of a Research Fellowship under the European project EPIWORK - 7th Framework Programme - IST Grant Agreement Ref. 231807, funded by the European 7th Framework Programme.

The research grant aims at identifying, selecting, cataloguing and characterizing epidemiological resources in the scope of the european project EPIWORK. The work will start by identifying in epidemiological literature the description of data resources, map the description to a meta-model and add that characterization to the Epidemic Marketplace ( http://epimarketplace.net/ ) a platform for integrating and sharing epidemiological data.

The grant will last for 3 months at experience, beginning with flexible date, within the range of June 1st, 2011 and December 31st, 2011. According to the results achieved, this can be renewed until the deadline of January 31st, 2013.
