I have had strong body odor for 4 years now.It is bad and smells just like onions.I have been to so many doctors and no one can help me. Not dermatologists or family practitioners.I have changed deodorants, soaps and detergents. I stopped eating processed foods and nothing has helped the smell just gets worse. One hour out of the bath I smell like I never went in.The smell is also in my groin. To this day I have tried detoxes, colonics, coffee enemas, herbs, probiotics, teas, master cleanse, vitamins, working out, diet change, prescription deodorant, clinical deodorant, prescription antibacterial creams alcohol, apple cider and other antibacterial agents.I also don't sweat much so I'm so confused and very depressed can someone please me and let me know if an endocrinologist can help with such a problem. Also I'm not paranoid people have they told me that they can smell me.I actually wish it was in my head.

My Mrs. gave birth to my daughter in 2006. Afterwards she diagnosed with hypothyroidism and started thyroxine. After some time she started feeling pain in her joints. The doctor asked for the ACTH level. It was low then the Doctor suggested for the Brain MRI which was also normal. Insulin tolerance test was also conducted which ensured for the less ACTH level. One of the doctors started steroids. She took steroids for 3 year and at the last stopped taking steroids by gradually decreasing the dose. Now she is feeling temperature from 99F to 100F and also joint pains. She takes paracetamole tablets daily. She has completed vitamin D courses multiple time. I have tried multiple doctors but unable to be diagnosed. Please help

I have tried Chrolophyll tablets and IBS support tablets and they seem to be working out brilliantly.I took them this morning and they are already working. I wish you could see this and try them as I can understand what you going through sister, but giving up is never the answer our body is complicated and doctors they apply what they have been dictated to. Sometimes going to doctor can worsen your condition. The best is to see what might be the core of the problem understand how our body works. I read lots of articles and can send you links if i have your email address.
Conclusion was to take Chrolophyll tablets you can look up the benefits if you google search it. and from a forum i found out that IBS Support will help you get rid of the imbalancement of bacteria that you might have in your gut.

I have had a similar problem to yours! I tried to mask the odor with apple cider vinegar, expensive anti bacterial soaps, baking soda, the list goes on. I was really afraid people around could smell me.My bf at the time said he can smell something rancid but we both couldn't figure it out. The only thing that has helped me is doing colon cleansing. I've done 3 colon cleanses after the first colon cleanse I found a huge difference in my body smell. I took 4 tbsps of epsom salt in a glass of water in the morning. But be warned you have to stick around the toilet the whole day. Right now at this moment I don't have to reapply my deodorant every 2 hours, or spray body spray 3 times daily it has done wonders for me and I hope I can help other people out there! Good luck!

yes, I bet you need a good endocrinologist! I want a law that doctors can not recommend anti-depressants. Only endocrinologist. Unfortunately a lot of adrenal insufficiency is not recognized. But I am finding help yet. Check out 'progress your health' dot com. See some of there very short but informative videos on youtube! I will try to let you know what else I find.

Hey guys it's been 3 years only thing that somewhat helped was electrolysis. I'm still dealing with the problem in my groin though. I think I want to see an endocrinologist soon. I just spent so much money going to all these docs and no help still. I want to help and offer suggestions

Kia, I have had the same problem for a long time. I have also been to dermatologists, gotten tested for Trimethylaminuria (don't have it)and all manner of deodorants, soaps, colognes and body washes. Nothing seems to work. I bath before work, shower at work and at home. Yes, one doctor told me I needed to see a psychiatrist. I know I'm not crazy. If I find a solution believe me I would share it with you. I often wonder what life would be like to be "normal". I'm not going to give up though, life is precious...mine is just difficult.I will try the Chrolophyll tablets and IBS support tablets already mentioned. One day I would like to work in an office and not be known as the guy that smells.
Good Luck to you.

Kia, I too have an odor problem, but it's not an onion smell. It's more like sweaty/urine. I get embarrassed by this only at work and never notice it any other time. Coworkers talk about me everyday as if I'm nothing and it hurts so bad. I'm trying not to give up, but it's hard. I'm going to see an Endocrinologist today and hope some good comes from this. I don't want any if us with this problem to give up. You are not alone. I am 26 and bathe before I go to work and when I get home from work. I am a clean person.

Ashley, I know it is hard but hang in there. I take pride in knowing I care about hygiene and how I look. The people at work who talk about me the most are the ones who are the most unkempt and slovenly. It's like I take the attention away from them. Many times I think to myself "screw you" I know I am cleaner than you but I have a condition I don't know how to treat yet. I don't stay mad though because I wonder how I would react in the same situation if I never had this problem. I know I am stronger than most people as are those who suffer like me because we go through this pain and embarrassment every day but keep trying and not giving up. It may be why we have this problem and not others...I just pray for strength to endure and enjoy what I can. Some days are better than others and I am able to help others who think they have problems and they even search me out for advice. This is a catch 22. It is good to know I am not alone but I am sorry others have to deal with this like I do.
Stay Strong

Not yet. I am still trying. I tried chlorophyll tablets, body mints and Zinc tablets. I got tested for TMAU and the test results were negative. I was unable to go to the endocrinologist but I have a doctors appointment next week and I am going to try and get a referral. Believe me if I find a cure for me I will tell the world but we are all different what works for one may not work for others. I bath every day and I am not crazy.
Do you have the same problem?

Hi guys! I too am a sufferer of this pesky smelly critter..tried everything from changed my soaps, washed daily, brushed my teeth twice a day, taking probiotics ,milk thistle tablets, changed my diet, had my tonsils removed, it actually got better after that, but I still get that bad smell, this just sucks! There must be a reason for this condition...im calling an endocrinologist myself because my stupid doctor thinks I'm crazy as well.

Hey guys! For the people that was suffering from localized body odor ie armpit or groin I found something that literally saved my life. It's called miradry and I got it done almost a year ago it literally almost cured me of armpit odor. You guys should read up about it. It's a two part procedure that costs about $3,000. I will say it reduced my body odor by 70%. Changed my life. Groin area still problematic but I can tolerate this more than the armpit. Hence I was self conscious about raising my arms and especially hugging.

Still nothing. Tried colon irrigation trying to clean myself from inside out. Did not work. Don't know what is next but got to keep trying. Can't imagine what it's like to be a normal person.
