In the first large national study of how best to treat children suffering from what was once known as adult-onset diabetes, an aggressive approach using two different drugs worked best in beating back the disease.

Maybe if the wonderful parents of this city wouldn't stuff their kids full of fast food and other garbage, this wouldn't be such an issue. I love when I see a whole family together, and everyone from the parents down to the baby are obese.

I don't know if it's so much about being Mexican, I have been to Mexico many times, and used to live in El Paso, and there was no where near the amount of fatsos there like I see here. But there is something wrong with the way people live here. I am paramedic, and if you even try to tell people that it is not normal to be 100+ lbs overweight and on dialysis when you are 30, they get really angry, or they think it's funny. And people are all excited when you tell them they have diabetes. Do people think it's a good thing?
