I think they should. I have a feeling my becoming hypo was part of the reason my daughter was born early. At the time it was a mystery to the doctor... a test of the placenta said it looked older than it should have.

After my daughter was born was when I started to really feel horrible. I finally hit a point (when my hair was coming out in clumps, felt like the living dead and I was thinking of killing myself) where I just had to drag myself into the doctor. I made the doctor test my thyroid. My TSH was 128.

I have had so many problems, it would take a book to go into them, and I feel the control of these meds is rediculous. These doctors don't know what they are doing and they have been given control over something they don't understand. It seems to me, those of us suffering have the motivation needed to figure out what works for each of us.
